Ok with that being said... You could also argue if Bama had Auburn's schedule then they would be undefeated too... Both of their losses came in the road at SCar and LSU... Auburn got both at home and won late...

I'm not biased toward either team... Both teams are good... You can make lots of arguments for either team but in the end it will come down to Chizik vs. Saban IMO... I'll take Saban at home in a game like this

The only thing making it my top play was it being Auburn... and me being a homer. Not smart. Risking $750 is still a high rated play.

I feel more comfortable in NCAA hoops or NFL.

College football rivalry... road team... undefeated but assured a chance to play for the SEC Champ.

Sorry man but too many factors to be considered a TOP play.

:director: WDE! and then we're all homers too. Not one person pumping Auburn isn't alumn... :sadwave: (Irish in another thread)

Bama's schedule last year when they went undefeated and won the NC

=

Auburn's schedule this year when we are going to win the NC.

Very simple corley. due to the Bammer double standards that exist down here, Auburn's schedule this year is lucky, easy, etc etc

But tell a Bama fan that their schedule last year was lucky, easy, any of the same terms - "Hell no man we were just bad F-in Ass last year!!!!!"

Chizik has the best player in the last quarter century IMO and Saban does not. Cam does not know how to lose.

Are you people watching the same Bama Defense as me or do you just look at box scores? Jeeesus by reading the opinions on here you would think Bama's defense is great.

I guess I was the only one watching the Bama-LSU game?? LSU put up over 400 yards offense. Prior to the Bama game all the Tide backers talking about how they weren't a threat because "No way LSU scores on Bama's raw ass defense". Get the hell out of here. Anyone telling me how good Bama's defense is needs to watch some more games.

They are very good In the Redzone. I will give them at. But the worst tennessee team in 20 years put up 160 yards on the ground against them. Auburn will rush for 300

Will Cam be able to pass against them? Well stephen garcia threw for 300+ so... I'd say 100%

As for "BAMA'S DEFENSE AT HOME" argument:

Tell me one good team bama has played at home this year. LOTS of talk about Auburn's weak road schedule. But coincidently NOBODY is talking about the fact that Bama hasn played 1 Ranked Team at home this year = Mississippi State (#25).

So, in an attempt to understand the other side of my biggest bet of the year, Someone tell me which game the "Bama Defense At Home" impressed you. If you say they dominated against the Juggernaut offenses of SJST, PSU, UF, OM, MSU, or GAState - I will get a good laugh. Oh wait..... that's all they've played at home this year.

Bama Defense at Home is RAW!!!!!!!!! haaaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

They have the #7 D in the country and for you to think they're not a lot better at home shows that you have blinders on right now. I like Auburn way more than I like Bama but this is betting for me and not just being a fan.

Go ahead and get a good laugh because the Bama D did dominate those teams they played at home. What else could they do to those offenses?

Nothing. It's like talking about Boise's schedule. Bama's home schedule this year is garbage. Their defense is nothing special. I will sitback talking about that defense until Friday night. Cam averages 150 rushing yards in conference games.

HOMER's lose in the long run - F-A-C-T

Know your team. I won a shit ton of money by taking Georgia - the points against UT. Why? Coming off a tough road loss, that they thought they had won. Too young, too inexperienced, etc.

If you are an Auburn fan and bet Auburn, then I am not saying that is wrong; I am just saying there is no evidence to show me or anyone on this board that this bet is worth the money some people are putting on them.

AUBURN HAS PLAYED 3 ROAD GAMES
They won by 3 at Kentucky
They won by 3 at Miss. State
They beat a pathetic Ole Miss team by 20 but gave up 31 points!

Root for your teams, rah rah and all that bullshit, but playing at Bama in the Iron Bowl is helluva lot harder than playing those 3 road games.

:mj07: Listen Lankford, I promise I hate fawking Bama, but don't talk about anyone's schedule when you have only played 3 road games this year. La-Monroe, UTC, and Arky State aren't going to score any bonus points either. You played Clemson, but at home - Bama played Penn St. at home. They have also played 5 road games.

I am pulling for you on Friday, but strength of schedule is not a solid selling point for your boys.

Wasn't comparing schedules. Just pointing out that people talking about "Bama's defense at home" sound like people talking about Boise or TCU's defense this year.

Bama has had all their real games on the road

I just like the fact that Bama has nothing to lose... Yeah the season is a disappointment in their eyes but you know Saban and those boys would love nothing more than to ruin Auburn's season...

Case and point... MSU's beatdown of TSUN last year in the Egg Bowl... This year the scenario is the exact same except the teams flip flopped... I will be on TSUN spread and ML

I've been waiting for this game for weeks. I love a matchup where the returning national champions only have to stop one guy on the field in Cam Newton. Newton will do a little damage, but not enough to win this big of a game on the road in Bama.

Give me Bama minus anything less than 7. I sure hope this line gets pounded down with Auburn fans and lovers. I bet it at -4 1/2 and will bomb it if it gets under 4.

Bama just has way too much talent on the field to not win this game.
