Not an eagles fan but IF mcnabb wins a superbowl this year he becomes borderline hall of fame. That would be his 6th NFC championship game, second super bowl, and a super bowl win would put him in that top 3.

For all the great things brees and romo have done they don't have a 10-5 post season record. And mcnabbs career QB rating is in the top 15 all time

Lmao at saying Romo is better than him :mj07: Maybe you missed the last game of the year..
Im sure #5's numbers would look good with Whitten, TO and Marion barber.. just a hunch

Top 3 Quarterback? Geez, why all the love for McNabb is right?

I would take Brees above McNabb without hesitating anyday. Probably Brees, a healthy Romo, and maybe Big Ben as well. Warner has enjoyed a much better season than McNabb as well.

no one said that... can you read?

Can you?

I said he is top 3..and I am sticking by that. If Warner makes it to the Super Bowl he will be in the top 5.

ur right, though u were quoting me on that...:toast:

Warner winning with that defense would boost him big time with what he's already done.

Yup, I am not even a huge Mcnaab fan, but its amazing how people in Philly hate this guy, even though he takes his team to the playoffs almost every year. Im sure Kevin Kolb would lead that team on a huge run.

It's odd that you guys praise Dungy as being some great coach even though he gets knocked out every first round, yet McNaab sucks and hes a winner.

You guys really don't get it. Who is McNaabs best wr? Curtis? Reggie Brown? Desean Jackson?

The one year he had a playmaker he went to the superbowl.

Yea Romo is great, how many playoff games has he won.. and Brees as well?

McNaab has been a constant winner..

Do you honestly think McNaab carried Philly to the Super Bowl? There's no doubt he had a shot to win it and puked all over himself. If it wasn't for their defense they would be a .500 team at best, period.

So Cal
McNabb during this playoff run has been very avg
and he is lucky to have a great defense.
I think the Eagles lose this Sunday.
That being said the guy is a winner. You can't deny that . Has his team in the playoff's just about every year. I would have no problems at all
with him as the QB of my Redskins.

I think McNabb is a really good QB over several years. While he does have a good defense almost every year, he also wins with a mediocre offense most years.

Westbrook is damn good, but his receivers are usually very average and there is no power running game inside the 5 yard line.

Andy Reid throws the ball way too much and McNabb makes some really big plays in games. Somehow, together, Reid and McNabb have worked for 5 NFC Championship games and so far 1 super bowl appearance.

I think a lot of times, Reid relies on McNabb to make him look good and McNabb comes through.

I know the end of that super bowl was not good for McNabb, but someone should have been out there to catch the damn punt right before that last possession.

I'm not an eagle fan, but I think McNabb is a really good, really solid QB over a long period of time.

Go look how wonderful he played in those playoffs leading up to the superbowl. Down right awful and once again if not for the defense there is no superbowl. Brady cariies teams. Pweyton Carries teams. The defense carries this team and of course the two yard pass to Westbrooke that goes 75 yards because of Westbrooke athletic ability.

What if ...

What if ...

What if McNabb had Fitzgerald & Boldin to throw to...What type of numbers would he have thrown for this year, and what kind of rushing yards would Westbrook have put up for that matter? McNabb does an awful lot with very little around him.

McNabb is not in the same situation as Brady and Manning. Manning has had a great offense and weapons galore most of his career.

Brady has had a great defense, a flawless O-line, cameras everywhere (lol), and average receivers...but he's able to go 5-wide and not get touched anytime he wants.

McNabb does have a good defense, but he makes plays on offense by scrambling to both pass and run. I don't put McNabb in the same category as these 2 guys, but they pass almost every down and there are not many weapons. There is no running game and defenses know it.

With all that, this is McNabb's 5th NFC title game. He's doing something right, and its not all defense.

i heard all this same bull about Mcnab the year he got hurt and then a guy Named AJ Feelly came in and won 5 of 6 games with the same team and wins all six if Akers doesn't miss a 20 yard Fgoal. Feely didn't play well but the defense put him in great position over and over again. Back then when the Eagles were always winning the NFC was awful and the coaches were jokes. As soon as Parcels and Gibbs finally arrived the winning stopped. The AFC was ten times better then the NFC and Peyton and Brady were not beating soft team after soft team. In Mcnab defense tho and i ahve watched him for ten years i think this is the best he has ever played but i still think he is a mediocre quarterback. When they lose it is the receivers fault. When they win its all McNab. Espn is doing everything they can to convince people that McNab is the greatest in the history of quarterbacks. By the way Mcnab also has a pretty dam good offensive line. A line a lot of quarterbacks would kill for. Breeze takes receivers off the street and still throws for 4000 yards.
