Good? As in "I can carry a loaded weapon into clubs, fire it, and get a slap on the wrist" good? I'm sorry, but he needs to do some time and others need to know it is the price you pay for packing heat without a permit.

i own a few guns, but i would not ever enter a club or bar w/ a gun. if i didn't feel the club safe i would not go into the club. and if i was a million dollar pro player i would have a couple of paid body guards for sure.

guns are not bad. people are. anyone who has had their home or auto broken into is pleased to have the right to a firearm in their home.

get a permit and then you can carry. however, i do not think guns should be allowed into bars. all bars should have a metal detector for guns. imho

Lock him up, guns are no good. Alcohol and firearms are even worse. If he really thinks he needs to "stay safe" why doesn't he do what many other high profile celebrities/athletes do and get a bodyguard. He could even get an armed guard if he thinks that would be better. That solves the problem right there.

Guns are good useful tools if the user is throughly educated about them. Plax having a gun to me seems to be more of an ego thing. He was probably messing with the gun or letting someone know that he had it when it went off. Guns just don't shoot for no reason. He had the safety off and was fumbling with the trigger or hammer.

Does anyone know what kind of gun it was?

Hate to say it but he should get another 5 years for being a dumbass.

He claims the club knew he had it and they didn't care.NICE. If I own a club then nobody is entering armed unless he has a badge.
Plax claims he was heading up the stairs to the VIP and missed a step and the gun was in his pants and it started sliding down his leg inside his pants. He tried to grab it before it hit the floor and squeezed the trigger in the progress thus shooting himself.
Not saying he is lying but give me a break. In a club with a loaded gun and the jackass doesn't even have the safety on.
