Odd comparison but not from liberal
--just one question-which one of McCains parents weren't U.S. citzens.

then tell me how a foreigner on temprary visa who is currently married -knocks some one up-on U.S. soil gets married again (bigomy) --before returning and you find remote comparison.

and on the marriage in hawaii-

His own father and mother?s wedding in Hawaii may not have been properly documented either. ?How and when the marriage occurred remains a bit murky, a bill of particulars that I have never quite had the courage to explore,? Obama writes in his memoir.

--but then again you already knew answer per your high-lighted quote.

You wouldn't be in the teaching profession by any chance?

My lord DTB. Your reaching is getting more and more desperate by the minute. As for your last line, teaching is now something to ashamed of? Pol Pot incorporated a similar strategy. Republicans now hate intellectuals, and ridicule them at every turn. Pol Pot started by killing anyone with glasses. The "brainy types" were a threat to him. The same can be said for you and your ilk. It really is sad that this is a divided nation, you, Nosiger, Hedgehog and others on one side, and the rest of us on the other. Stupid is as stupid does. Long live the Khmer Rouge.

on a side note, have you ever even heard of PJ O'Rourke, William F. Buckley, Pat Buchanan, etc....wtf happened to the Republican party? Is George Will dead? The Goldwater days are gone, but it really is a shame what the GOP has become.

On the night of the Oscars, I was just wondering if it bothers any of the "righties" that they are at political odds with all of the creative, scientific, intellectual types and in goose step with every dumb ass redneck backwoods dipshit in bfe America? Just wondering.

I hated to bring a lot of that up Jabbers but I could have been much worse--however when people make absurb comparisons--they need to pay the piper.

--and I see your doing the ole Smurph routine--when you can't dispute the facts--you attack the messenger.

For your info--there are lots of people interested in facts-voting records-documents-history ect

Then there are those with (Move.on/ Kos) mentality who don't facts to get in way of their opinion.

So we get a little for everybody here.
To prove point you saw Brantz rebuttle/ comparison---and now we'll see what you got.
Which part of post you gave your opinion on do you dispute--you can bring in your whole team for assistance if you like.
Balls in your court--:0corn

means nothing...

i don't know about the "intellectuals' or the scientific communities & who they support or have supported in the past (i'll take your word for it since you seem to know), but if you take a look at the post war 2 history of the presidential election you will see that most of the creative people always aligned themselves with the dems.

i remember when nixon ran against humphrey in the 1968 election, there was a mass telethon type of show for humphrey with paul newman, shirley mclain, warren beatty, etc talking up the democratic candidate while nixon had only jackie gleason sitting & asking him questions about policy.....& nixon won the election...

and there were other times when the dems won....ie...jfk, lbj...

so as i said it doesn't really matter what the 'so called elites" think....
