have a handful of people here watching game

everysingle person saying the same thing

if not early, then give it to baker who has been shooting great

van vleet is not the guy I am having take that shot, EVER....regardless of situation....if we are talking something where a play is drawn up to get to the rim then I would let him dribble and ddrive, but he isn't on the court if my play is simply inbound and shoot the 3....I have all shooters out there and baker or early take the shot

if early had cut to the hoop after van vleet had the ball, he would have been open for a layup. instead he just stood at the 3-point line and watched. not sure how the play was drawn up, but he missed what would have been an easy opportunity to go to OT.

Couldn't agree more. Think Wichita got jobbed a bit anyway by some calls, particularly in the second half, but I would have rather seen Early put up a half court shot than what they ultimately got given how he was shooting.

Saw that as well. Not sure why teams are always so content to settle on a three in those situations. Run some picks, give a guy a chance at an easy bucket. A long three that the opponent knows is coming with an arm or two in your face is not what you're looking for to win the game. Uhg.

completely agree. from what I could see, I gotta put this one on marshall. I don't know if he wanted van vleet to take the shot, but it sure looked like they definitely planned to shoot a 3.

personally, I like the veteran team's chances going to OT. I would have been happy with something going to the hoop.

Yep, likewise. I also think there should have been a little more time on the clock after that timeout, maybe would have given them an outside chance of a putback if they did go to the hoop.

Oh well, over now. Super tough loss, but I guess that's why it's March Madness. Gotta feel for Wichita State a bit though.

yea I think early would have been open if he would have moved in any direction except stand still

I hear ya though I know there are other guys playing defense and coaches scheming to stop their hottest players, I just guess I was rooting for WIch state today and sucks that I think they didn't have their best play to try and win the game
