why do some people deride other people`s faith if it doesn`t impinge on their own lives in a meaningful way?....

why do some people expect god to solve all their problems...why not be a little pro-active?.......

1. Is this a serious question? You don't think other people's faith is impinging on the lives of others? Ask anyone who lost a family member in 9/11 that question. Also, I would also argue that the faithful that are pushing to have Intelligent Design taught in public schools is criminal. Faith is interfering with our country's overall intelligence.

2. Looks like we agree on something. Rather than praying to an imaginary God, why not address your issues rationally. Prayer inhibits proactivity.

3. So, the creator of the universe is incapable of replacing a limb? Considering all that you believe He has already done, this should surely be considered "easy" by His standards.

I do not believe in God myself, but I didn't like this video. He wants educated people to listen but the answers to his questions made me feel as though he was talking down to me.

I do have my own questions for believers out there, I am not trying to offend anyone but I do wonder these:

Why did God have dinasours?

Why must people who live great lives, lets say for arguements sake Mahatma Gandhi, go to hell and suffer endless prosecution because he does not believe in the Christian God?

Why are fear and form of hatred, aka discrimination, used so prominently? For example, about two months ago the University Christian Church right off campus had people standing outside protesting with signs saying "Queers are going to hell" or "Fags are sinners". They may believe this but why must they use words that they know offend others?

What do you think of ministers who live fairly lavish lifestyles, like golf memberships at one of the nicest private courses, and a million dollar+ mansions on the course? He does have a huge church, books and a tv show, so yes I see how he deserves to live a comfortable life but I don't think he NEEDS to live a lavish life because he should be the one setting examples for others. What are others thoughts?

it`s called "faith" for a reason....it`s a belief in a code of ethics...a doctrine...

if people want to believe in the wizard of oz,have at it...

it`s basically benign...unlike radical islam....

is it so horrible to be against abortion?..(i`m for some limited abortion rights)..to be pro-family values?....to be anti-euthanasia(i`m actually for for some method of humane euthanasia for the terminally ill)....

the gay thing i don`t agree with....but i don`t see them hanging or stoning anybody(unlike some other peaceful religions)....
look,they can believe what they want...it`s a free country...they can proselytize...they can push their agenda...they can believe in intelligent design......and if they can garner enough public support,well,that`s what`s called a democracy....

you sound like a marxist....."religion is the opiate of the masses".....

this is a free country...you need to get over it....seriously...

I might be looking for a roommate in a few months.

It's a spacious 2-bedroom, hardwood floors. Detailing and molding you can only find in a building built pre-1920.

Neighbor runs a massage parlor out of his place, but you rarely can hear the happy endings.

No parking. No children. No local churches. No air conditioning. No Republicans.

Two organic grocery stores within walking distance. 9 bars within walking distance.

Students, Disenfranchised, Battered-Women, Runaway teengers (+++), Vegans... all move to the head of the line.
