Wife's 40th... suggestions

Thanks for all the suggestions, and keep them coming.
Las Vegas has always been my first thought.
My wife really cares nothing about sports unless she's participating in them. She's quite athletic, but I bet she didn't watch an hour of any sport live or on the tube last year.
So, early March is too early for fun and sun in South Carolina or Florida?? If so, I'll nix that asap. I've never been that time of year, but I just assumed it would be at least 80? :shrug:

I need some of you online search wizards to find me a good package deal flying out of BNA (Nashville) on Southwest, a nice place to stay, and I guess some show tickets? probably need to start another thread for that.

plenty to do. gambling galore. poker tourneys and a $25 a night poker rate. all of the rooms in the sheridan are like suites. hot tub right in the bedroom - awesome. plenty of shopping and great food. also, will allow for you to have a serious bank roll with the room/ eats being affordable. my wife's 40th is in 9 years, let me know how this tunica works out. if your wife hates it i won't take mine there nine years from now.:shrug:

Yes six, I'd start a new thread, although there are
many threads on Vegas, but you can start one on
March, because Vegas is different in any given
month. You won't regret it six, your wife will go

DON'T PLAN IT ON A WEEKEND ROOMS WILL COST YOU AROUND 3 BILLS @The Sheraton :shrug:
if you truly want to come down here i will look into the details - i payed nothing for a weekday room at the sheraton a year ago. i have never stayed there on the weekend........
i know that the horseshoe has poker room rates, but i do not know about fri/sat night.

dude, vegas obviously kicks tunica's ass, but i am thinking of the gambling not the shows,whores,night life, etc.
i can sit at a poker table for hours...... obviously i am not too romantic.:00hour
however, i have been married for 11 years so i guess i am doing something right ?:shrug:
Gold Strike which is right beside Sheraton and Horseshoe has poker rate even on weekends. Poker rate means if you play at least 6 hours of poker per day your room is free. When you call for reservations ask for the poker room and they will help you from there. If your wife plays thats just 3 hours each. Poker boss will give you ticket for meals for 2 also.

Hard to not be impressed with Vegas--endless sight seeing alone--Took wife there believe it was last year for duel purpose of honeymoon/meeting MadJackers. Was great time.Expense was quite modest--except they don't give away food like they use to.
--and speakng of affordable--Cancun used to be very reasonable-not been there in a while--little island close to there Cosmel (spl) is quite scenic.
