No I would not vote for him unless it was to throw him out of the country. He is a hypocrite of the worst nature. He talks about immigration and failures of everyone else yet he and his supporters completely disregard his own practices of outsourcing jobs overseas. He failed miserably in the casino business where he was also caught employing illegals. He cannot even be honest about his own vanity. Look at his hair.

Unfortunately, that doesn't matter to most of our clueless citizens. What matters to most is the flavor of the day. We are a society of specials. We indulge ourselves with our own manipulated vanity every day. Remember how insanely important security was to us after 9/11? People were driving everywhere rather than flying, and not surprisingly gas prices spiked, so we bitched about that. School shootings and mass murder had been on sale in aisle 1 for a decade but we don't panic about those anymore because we've already applied the social band-aid. We fixed nothing and did nothing yet it was on to white on black crime, or hand outs for the poor, health care, etc.... it's all about keeping the citizens in a state of orchestrated chaos.

When you have people I respect such as AR182 making statements about our sitting president setting a low bar when there is so much exculpatory evidence and proof to the contrary, you have to wonder how the Republic will ever recover. We don't want to be bothered with facts and charts. We want sensationalism, we see a bright shiny object and we obey.

So it isn't who would vote for Trump, because 90% of our voting population is going to vote out of manufactured spite. Face it, not one of the Republican candidates for president is a viable option. Ask yourself which one would you want to be your granddaughters camp counselor for a month? Pick your poison, religious zealot? How about an angry deceitful slob that is hated by his own state constituents? Maybe a racist dolt that will completely ignore science in favor of deity? Yeah, plenty will vote for Trump because they are going to "show them". You can't call yourself a concerned citizen when you bitch about someone that has been a positive influence on our country's economy and social issues, and then vote for someone so completely inferior because you think it will be funny.

Hope this helps,
FDC

Yet you'll vote for a murderer...

You voted for Obama twice, you are too stupid to be part of this conversation

Ronald Reagan was the best President this country has ever seen, Its not even close

Dare I ask if you are even serious? Hell NIXON was better then Ronnie. The Iran/Contra treachery was far worse then Watergate. FAR WORSE! The best president this country ever had was Lincoln. The confederate flag bitches can choke on that one.

Bernie Sanders is not a communist. Jesus, democratic socialism is not the same as communism. Goddamn simpleminded people. Besides, he won't get elected anyway so why worry. Only republican I would even think of is Paul and that is because he is against the TPP and Patriot Act even though he is a loon on other things.

They say the older you get the more conservative you get but then what is funny is someone like my dad who voted for Eisenhower, Nixon and Bush Sr now won't even touch the republican party because of how far off the reservation you nuts have gone. You need tons of money and gerrymandering (cheating) to control the houses. So Sad. The party of Lincoln has gone to hell.

Interesting....I am the complete opposite of your father....

Going from doing volunteer work for Eugene McCarthy to voting for Jimmy Carter to now I wouldn't even consider any democratic candidate other than, maybe Webb, the senator from Virginia....

You cannot sustain a prosperous country by taking from one group of people to give it to another group of people....

The border has to be secured (by both parties) & hopefully the American people woke up after the senseless, brutal killing of that poor girl from Frisco....

The terrible deal with Iran has to be rescinded & open up better communication with Israel....

And above all else, Obamacare has to be buried along with all those who passed the bill...It will just suck this country dry....

This is what I want & will support the person who will take all or some of these things....

However, I think my worst fear will be realized & we will have a Clinton-Bush election....

I've always admired your optimism.

Thank you buddy...it is the only way to live!!

I am very puzzled by people like you & Jack. who are very bright guys who keep voting for the same people over, & over, over again & again....

I heard that Chicago had about 90 killing * an obscene amount of wounded over the July 4th holiday weekend....

A beautiful city like Chicago continues to be a shooting gallery & yet you keep voting for the same people for mayor....I don't get it....NYC finally went against it's grain & elected a guy like Giuliani & the city dramatically changed....Chicago should find somebody like that for a change of pace & let's see what happens....It cannot be worse than it is....Unless you are an ideologue (sp?), in that case, never mind!!

Jack is a long time successful businessman & yet you keep voting for politicians who are anti-business....How is Obamacare treating you & your family Jack?....Never mind my post if you are also an ideologue....

Have a good day, gents!!

I belong to the Independent Party & vote across party lines....

I have voted way more times for the Democratic candidate than the Republican, but I cannot vote liberal anymore....I don't believe in freebees & over-tax certain group of people....

I am quite certain that you vote Democratic in major elections based on what I over-heard you & kosar say in Vegas....

AR182,
You act as if Guild and did hear things with NY, when all he really accomplished was garnering a huge amount of money and national sympathy for an attack that could have been avoided had Cheney and Bush jr. Not had capitalism and profit on their mind. You talk about how we take from one class and give to another and that is blatantly untrue. The government supports the richest if the rich always. Do you think the middle class benefited from the wars or did Halliburton and the wealthiest if us all. Government money given to private contractors just in Iraq alone exceeds the cost of Obamacare and social security. Does the lower or middle class benefit from the Dow trading at it's highest numbers, or is it upper class? You know what gutted society and the need for healthcare reform? Tort reform, insurance fraud, extortion, and a general fucking of the middle and lower classes with corporate benefits. Do you know how many large businesses abrogated their pensions to the PBGC during both bush terms? So while I appreciate your opinion it is wildly inaccurate. I'm not sure where you garnering your information from but unemployment and jobless rates are down and the deficit has been cut by 60% so what exactly is so wrong with Obamacare? Most think that now that they pay out of pocket rather than have their employers provide insurance in lieu of wage increases that somehow the ACA is to blame, yet they'll completely excuse large corporations curing full time employees or charging more for their pizza. So large business hasn't suffered by a damn sight. Lucky this country has people that aren't fooled by shallow peripheral propaganda.

Still respect your opinion, is just not mine.

Hope this helps,
FDC

I can understand how you'd wonder why an enormously successful pillar of the Chicago financial community could support liberals, but that's only because you think that conservatives help business/the economy and that hasn't been my experience in my 20 years. My mortgage is lower because of TARP, my health insurance is lower because of the AHCA and my wage is better because of the robust economy.

But to ask Jack?

Take a look at that sponsor lists before the conservatives jammed anti gambling legislation into a ports bill overnight before a vote. Take a look at the sponsor list jack had before that bill and compare it to now.

So, yes, it's ideology, and it also happens to be self-interest.
