Browsing the poker forum, not much has been said since early May about Noble. The comments then were lukewarm and I was wondering if anyone has anything new to add regarding their play there recently. Although I haven't been looking too hard for WSOP satellites, I am a bit surprised they are still available this late.

Cheers,
M

I played on it for a few days until I lost my small deposit. The main reason I didn't like it was that you can't cruise the internet while playing. Your task bar at the bottom totally disappears as the game takes up the entire screen. I usually play pretty tight and fold tons of hands. Being able to cruise the 'net while playing keeps me from getting bored and wanting action even when I'm not getting cards. Consequently, I think I played a lot more hands on Noble than I would have on other sites. Seems like that might be an easy problem to fix.

As far as game play, it was smooth with no glitches. The level of play didn't seem too good, so I definitely think it's beatable.

As far as that Maui jackpot goes, I think that would be about impossible to win. Too many stupid players catching cards in a $5 tourney. Something to shoot for though, that's inexpensive!

Like I've said, they have great software, but no selection, no games and no players. Tough to have a poker site when the highest number of players you have is 500 or so and other sites have 100x that. I wish them well.

That being said some of these guaranteed tourneys may be +EV if they dont get enough players to show.
