Playing in the John Deer Classic Pro Am Wednesday. Have gotten out a whopping 4 times this year, so I hope I don't chop up the place. Find out who I get to play with tomorrow night at the parings party! Should be one hell of a time. I hope my out of shape ass can make it 18 holes without a cart. Haven't walked a round of golf since College....:mj07:

GL Mully. Remember to relax and have fun out there and don't think about it being a Pro Am just out with the Bud's!! May help lower that score. Hit'em straight!! Not often like myself.:mj07:

Good luck, I am very jealous. No doubt it will be nerve wracking, but remember to stop and take it all in from time to time... something to enjoy, for sure. Hope you get a good pro to play with.

Hit em straight, and not that it matters if you haven't played much, but tees should be up and pins very accessible. Caddied in a small 2-day Pro-AM invitational once back in the early 90's. Couples, Els, Stricker all shot like 8 under the first day and EVEN par the second day once pins were put in ridiculous spots. Have fun.

Father In law will be on the bag. He won't be the best caddy, but family first..You know what Im sayin? As far as a tip, already told him he gets half of the $500 credit I have with Brigstone, ecco and maui jim. Every amature gets this gift package thats entered in the event. Pretty sweet!

the question is who do you want to be paired with? good luck...

David Toms would be my first choice. The Defending champ always plays with the Tourney Chairperson, so Kenny Perry is out. John Deer also gets the 3rd, 8th and 12 overall picks of the lottery along with "freazing" 1 player of their choice. That player will be announced before the lottery picks. One of the better fields over the years to come through the Quad Cities, so I'm hoping to get someone "good".
