Woodticks..

Live in Northwest Wisconsin and just pulled 11 ticks off my dog.. He had none last night.. My other dog had none today.. She is a longhair who is shaved down.. He is a wired hair.. (had the ticks) We went through the "woods" today.. Time to get frontline early.. I googled it up and didn't find a lot of info on ticks in the south.. Do you guys in the south have to deal with this all year long? Does anybody have a different remedy other than frontline because I hate the smell it leaves on the dogs. Any good info would help.

TICKS were out in full force..


sprayed Outdoor Cuttter w DEET around ankles, shoes, pants, etc...kept them off me pretty well...

avon skin so soft. don't laugh it works better then anything , also for people to. used by most baseball players of all ages in fl to keep off anything bug wise that bites. And people who are out in the galdes doing their thing.

I just brought our Westie to the Vet and ticks are real bad this year I guess the tick doesn't even need to be a deer tick to have lime diease, don't use frontline either this vet is very passionate. ( I one fed her table scrap he said "your killing her do it again and I'll put a baseball bat to your head! :scared ) Get them proticall it's better for them.
