Would you pay $10 a month for this?

Log into a system. It goes to each place you have a balance or a bet history. Pulls all the info back to one spot.

You can now see your balance, open bets, bet history, etc for all books (or just one book if that's all you use).

You can run reports on wins/losses. I lose xx when I bet on the f'ing yanks. I win xxx much when I bet home dogs, etc. I lose my butt on the NBA. etc, etc, etc.

Your account info is stored in an encrypted database that can ONLY be seen by you. Not even the site admin can see your info.

Heard it' sponsored by the DOJ & IRS

I'm sure they would get it developed for us in no time, and secure as the pentagon.

I agree on the security issue. I believe you can get SSL security backed and insured up to a $1mil by Verisgn and a few other places.

Why do you ask this? Is there something out there that does this, or are you looking to develop it? Or was it just a hypothetical question?

I was thinking it would be great to have. I know someone who could develop it, but it's not cheap.

$10 a month is worth saving 2 mins of some people's time, believe it or not.

not to mention how much it would cost to promote it. where would you advertise this thing? it takes a LONG time getting traffic to a new site, a L O N G time unless you have piles of money to advertise it. being such a low ticket item, i doubt it would be a big money maker.

another thing; this site gets about 50,000 unique visitors a week and i highly doubt you would get 50 subscribers. let's be real optimistic and say you get 100 subscribers, $1000 a month profit, i suspect it would take a long time getting your programming expenses back before making profits for yourself.

- you need the product and a good one
- a website designer, host, programmer
- a huge advertising budget
- employees, unless you have a lot of time on your hands.

i wouldn't pay 10k for the completed product with all rights to it because i doubt i would make much from it. AND I'M ALL SETUP with the site, traffic that took years to get and thousands spent advertising it, great search engine placement that took years and i'm linked at over 6000 sites that took years to accomplish.

i don't see much potential for it.

just my opinion.

I see what you're saying Jack. It definitely wouldn't be worth paying $10k for. $3k? Maybe.

I think it you got something working well, it would have to be a little more than $10 a month. Maybe $20 a month, but still, no one is getting rich off of it, that's for sure.

How much you going to charge me to have a stickied post at the top of the forum for a month Jack? :SIB
