1 Dead, 3 Injured In Lawrenceville Crash
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- A woman died and three people were injured in a crash in Lawrenceville on Friday, police said.
Gwinnett County police said two cars were involved in the collision that left debris strewn across the roadway on McKendree Church Road near Lawrenceville Suwanee Road.
Investigators said the driver of a 1993 silver Ford Mustang hit a 2001 green Land Rover in a head-on collision shortly before 10 a.m.
The passenger of the Mustang died at the scene of the crash. The drivers of both cars and another passenger in the Mustang were taken to the Gwinnett Medical Center. They are expected to survive their injuries, hospital officials said.
