It wasn't the wrong address. They were serving a warrant on the mother. Here's the rest of the story.

At around 1:30am my family and I were awaken by the sound of loud and aggressive banging at our front door. The Aggressive nature of the banging frightened us so I walked into the guest room that looks over the front of our house and was shocked when I saw 3 large Dekalb County Sheriff SUV's with large flood lights pointed at our house and windows.

when i walked back into the hallway the person that was banging at the door started yelling "i saw yo' ass open the door!" i responded "what is this about? why are you here?" the person then responded "I'm not telling you shit, what you think this is?" so at this point my brother woke up as well my mother. we all are petrified at the aggression coming from the sheriffs outside our door. We continue asking why they are here and they continue to refuse to tell us only occasionally saying "open the mother fucking door nigga"

I call the police and tell the operator what is going on, and that I do not feel safe opening the door because they will not tell me why they are here and they are behaving extremely aggressive.

I specifically ask the operator if she would send the police captain to the scene to ensure that we would not be harmed when we open the door, she said ok.

I waited about another 20-25 minutes for police to show up. No police ever showed up.

My brother, mother and myself all went to the door and let the sheriffs know that we were going to open the door and come out.
My mother opens the door and steps out and says "I'm a Christian woman don't hurt my family" she was immediately hand cuffed.

The remainder of the sheriffs then entered my house and attacked me and my brother. One of the sheriffs drew a weapon and struck me with it on the head.

As I am laying facedown on the floor I am repeatedly kicked in the head and back and one of the sheriffs stood on my head with both feet.

The other sheriffs at this point are attacking my brother and threatening to Taser him if he says anything else.

It this point both myself and my brother are both pleading with the sheriffs to stop and asking why are we being handcuffed.

The sheriffs that entered my house entered illegally, I found out after they left from a family friend that they were here on an arrest warrant for my mother.

If that is the reason they were here, once they arrested my mother when she was outside, they had no reason to enter my home.

They did not have a search warrant.

The events took place on the first level of my home.

Sheriffs illegally searched my entire house and removed items from my mothers purse which are now missing including $48.

the sheriffs also verbally berated myself and my brother calling us "big mother fuckers, dumb asses, retarded niggers"

and verbally threatened us saying "i wish i could cane y'all asses"

When Sargent Magee was asked by a family friend why this happened he responded "we did this because they made a scene filming us."

I have no clue what laws they broke. I do know they had an arrest warrant and the people wouldn't open the door. I've always thought they could bust down the door if you didn't answer and they have an arrest warrant.

One thing I know for sure is that it wasn't "a wrong address."

Open the fucking door if the cops are knocking. Jesus, what did they expect?

None of that would have happened if they had opened the door. None of it.

And they knew nothing about the warrant out on the mother? Yeah right!

They knew exactly why the cops were there.

I'll watch again to make sure, but I'm pretty sure they did open the door. That's how the cops got them.

Is there a law on how long you have to answer your door?

In MLB - 8.04
When the bases are unoccupied, the pitcher shall deliver the ball to the batter within 12 seconds after he receives the ball. Each time the pitcher delays the game by violating this rule, the umpire shall call ?Ball.? The 12-second timing starts when the pitcher is in possession of the ball and the batter is in the box, alert to the pitcher. The timing stops when the pitcher releases the ball.
The intent of this rule is to avoid unnecessary delays. The umpire shall insist that the catcher return the ball promptly to the pitcher, and that the pitcher take his position on the rubber promptly. Obvious delay by the pitcher should instantly be penalized by the umpire.

An arrest warrant permits an officer to take a person in to custody. They must know that a person is inside a habitat before entering unless they also had a search warrant. In this case, with the info presented, they did not have a search warrant. Many times with arrest warrants, legal counsel is notified that an arrest warrant has been issued and the suspect turns themselves in. In this instance they delivered the notification in person at 1:30am.

Within the law or not, there are quite a few morally questionable acts, including language and threats by the sheriffs department caught on tape.

I'm curious who owned the home. I'm guessing it was mom's house unless it was a rental. If I'm staying at Joker's house and the cops show up banging on the door and I don't let them in. Am I obstructing justice?

Why not open the door is my question? I wouldn't even think twice about not opening the door. I guess if I had something or someone to hide then I might but I don't.

They did open the door

They called 911 - Asked for an assisting an officer from the police department. Waited for the officer, who did not show.

Then opened the door

This arrest was personal. The mom had filed a complaint against sheriff's department previously. Then they show up at 1:30 in the morning banging on the door. That is a game changer.

Why did she file a complaint against them?

The time they showed up doesn't matter to me at all. They had an arrest warrant. It doesn't say what time they have to serve it. Again, until we know the whole story how can anyone take sides here. If she's filed a complaint before it means she probably had some kind of run ins with them. I've never had to file a complaint on the sheriff's department before. Then again, they've never had to serve an arrest warrant on me.

Where it is real F ing COLD
Didn't they ask several times"why are you here?" Then were told to shut up. The video does not say anything about an arrest warrant but maybe edited, who knows.

How do we know if its the right address or not? What was she arrested for? My initial thought is these cops were dicks but my mind would change if they stated the right address to the individuals with a warrant, but of they were yelling the wrong address then they were out of line
