well, i made it through day one but i am severely short stacked. i have 10,275 with blinds at 300/600 with a $75 ante. i have enough chips to make it around 6 times so all i need is one good hand to double up and get back in. on sunday, i think most will start conservative and with the pots at 1650 before utg acts, i kinda like my chances. well, not really like them but i do have hope. i havent checked stats yet but average stack must be around 30k so it's definitely not impossible to get back in. i just need some freaking cards.

cards have been horrible. i never had aa not one time. i had kk once a few ak and aq's and not too many pocket pairs either.

a key hand when i was at 3800, i was dealt 66 and went all in. i was called by the small blind and the bb went all in making the sb fold. we turned our cards up and he had AJo and i tripled up to around 12k. after that not too much happened and here i sit with 10k.

i play again sunday morning at 11am and am causiously optimistic still.

thanks for the replies in the thread IE started. i'll report more after some sleep.

i think boundbook went out in round 3 because i never saw him again :(

hellmuth is out, annie is out and the others that were mentioned in the other thread.

onward! :D

Stay positive and GL Jack. You may start off the day with a few high pairs and get back into it. Its never over until all your chips are gone.

How sweet would it have been if Jack was the one with the A-4 against Hellmuth's A-K and the A-A-4 flop......just think of the publlicity as Hellmuth stomps around the room muttering to himself......"what the f_ck is a Madjack anyway, this guy can't even spell poker let alone play it.......I can't f_cking believe I got beat by a guy that calls himself Madjack....."

I think you have to ride the wave and just stay in past the first two days. Then you get down to business.

No kidding Jack your doing great to still be playing when so many big names have dropped.

Good luck the rest of the way.

And to add another paraphrase from that great movie " The sun don't shine on the same dog ass everyday". Maybe tomarrow will be Jack's day for the sun to shine on his ass. Good Luck MJ.

After taking a series of bad beats, TJ Cloutier has been eliminated. Cloutier had pocket Jacks run into pocket Queens, he had pocket Queens against A-K and his opponent caught a King, and the hand that crippled him was when TJ had pocket Kings and his opponent was all in with 6h-2h. The flop came 5-4-3, giving TJ's opponent the straight. To add insult to injury, a King came on the river to give Cloutier his set. This particular hand left TJ with about $800 in chips and he was eliminated soon thereafter.

Ouch. All-in before the flop with 2-6 suited?
