WSOP MAIN EVENT ENTRY TOURNEY
*Based on 11 players*

1st place = $11,700 ($10,000 for seat + 1,700 for travel) (Most combined points at the end of 25 weeks)
2nd place = $1,000
3rd place = $750
4th place = $600
5th place = $500
6th place = $400
7th place = $300
8th-11th place = $250

25 Week Tourney
Total Prize Pool = $27,500 (Each week $650 will go to end of year pot, $450 goes to weekly pot)
Weekly Tourneys = $100 Entry
1st place = (10 points) + $200 Every 5th wk (15)
2nd place = (8 points) + $150 Every 5th wk (12)
3rd place = (6 points) + $100 Every 5th wk (9)
4th place = (4 points) Every 5th wk (6)
5th-11 = (2 points) Every 5th wk (3)
*We added this after we started = Whoever wins week 1 is the bounty for week 2 and so on. $5/person per week and whoever knocks out bounty collects $55. This just gets 4 players some money each week instead of 3, optional to do this of course, doesnt hinder payouts at the end at all*

There will be a $400 deposit for each player before the first tourney. This will pay for weeks 22-25 or it will go towards a wkly tourny that you are unable to attend. If you cannot make a wkly tourny you are allowed a replacement player so you can receive points. If no one shows in your place you will receive 0 points for the week.
2ND-11TH PLACE EACH GET 5% OF ANY WINNINGS THE 1ST PLACE FINISHER GETS IN THE MAIN EVENT. 1ST PLACE GETS 50%. ONCE YOU AGREE TO THIS YOU ARE AGREEING TO PAY FOR THE 25 WEEKS IF YOU ARE THERE OR NOT. PLEASE DO NOT PLAY IF THIS COULD BE A PROBLEM OR IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING A REPLACEMENT WHEN YOU MISS. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE PAYOUTS TO WORK. THE OTHER PLAYERS ARE DEPENDING ON YOU. LETS SEND SOMEONE TO VEGAS TO REPRESENT US AND WIN SOME $. GOOD LUCK!

Trny Structure
Last approx 3-4 hours
Players start with 2,000 chips. 20 minute levels
Levels
5/10 10/15 15/30 25/50 50/100 75/150
100/200 150/300 200/400 300/600
This isnt a speed trny, you actually have time to play poker and not flip coins, lol.
If we have more then 11 players the amount of weeks will go down and/or prizes will go up. Everyone will receive some $ back as long as they have paid the full amount for the wkly trnys. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit of any end of the trny prizes. This is a long trny so please COMMITED PLAYERS ONLY. *WEEKS 5,10,15,20,25 PLAYERS WILL BE AWARDED 1.5 X POINTS.

Sorry guys, some of this came directly off my sheet. Wasn't screaming at you with the caps. The only thing i will prob do different next year is make a slight alter to the wkly points. Will prob go with something like this.

Some players get frustrated getting 5th and 6th and getting the same points as the donk who goes out 11th every week, lol. One word of advice, make SURE you get the deposit, I believe we possibly woulda lost a couple players had their last 4 weeks not been paid for. Everyone really enjoys this and to some it looks like $2500/person if they dont read through the rules. Its only cost me $325. It wont cost as much as it sounds if you can finish in the top 3 several times. You have 25 chances. Plus you get a minimum of $250 back at the end + 5% of the winner in Vegas (a long shot i know, but still makes it interesting. Let me know if you guys have any questions.

Thanks Tman.

I'll have to print this out and start to talk to some guys, but it may be hard to get 11 or so guys to commit to $100 a week every week, that is a car payment. Maybe if you took the 25 weeks and took some weeks off here and there and spread it over 35 or 40 weeks it would be easier to take.

Blitz, yeah I understand man. You can make this work however you want, this is just how we decided on it. You can go in halves with someone for $50/week, you can play more weeks for less cash, you can only pay 1st place every week, etc. If you have a hard time the first year, I think it will become easier the second. We have had a lot of interest outside of the 11 players we have this year already for next year. Again, yes the $2500 sounds like a lot, but realistically you wont spend even close to that and it is spread out for half a year (long time). Hope it works out for you. We have regular trnys all the time, so i know a huge amount of poker players and of course that helps.

Isn't that ID registered to your wife?

If so, I believe if you win a seat she has to play. I believe they are non transferable...

PokerStars can't buy you in directly. The money is deposited in to your PS account and it's up to you to buy-in or spend the cash however you see fit.

no, it's mine now. i won a seat with that name before and played no problem.

they give you the cash this year anyway because they can't buy US residents into the tourney. they just hope you play it and give you incentive to play by giving more money to wear their gear.

yeah

yeah

But they are all over-priced, and/or fixed. I'd like a tourney where I'm not up against a dealer who understands each hand is worth 12,500
edit Or how about a satellite to a 1k buy-in...?
