When is Porter due back. This one guy can make a huge difference. He can stretch the field out, and all of a sudden Rice, Brown and Garner, can catch short dumps over the line making a totally differnt game plan.

Good luck,

Good call Skanoochies! When is Porter back? Anybody know? If he isn't playing in this game, somebody's going to have to give me something solid to take Oakland. Not it's a rivalry game, or any of that crap. Oakland sucks. Period. Without Porter, their offense is pathetic. Porter is the deciding betting factor in this game.

And for all those out there saying that if it wasn't for Hall the Chiefs would be 3-3... how about this...

Trent Green: 1356 yards, 9 TD's, 6 INT's
Priest Holmes: 563 yards rushing, 257 yards receiving, 5 TD's
Tony Gonzalez: 259 yards receiving, 3 TD's

KC's defense is almost dead last in the run...

but...

They have one of the better pass defenses in the league. They may give up a lot of yards through the air, but when you take into consideration opponent's QB rating against (a much more accurate portrayal of a teams pass defense than just yards/game), they are ranked 9th.

Good teams find ways to win. The Chiefs are 6-0 for a reason: they have the offense to turn a game into a shoot-out. When that happens, their oppenents can't sit back and waste time running the ball, they have to throw to keep up.

Just look at the point totals in their games so far this season...

Week 1: 41
Week 2: 61
Week 3: 68
Week 4: 27
Week 5: 47
Week 6: 74

KC counters with a D that is tough against the pass. Now you factor in field position and coaching and you can see why KC is 6-0 this season. The game that they only scored 17 points in, they held one of the best rushing teams in the NFL to 10 points despite 202 yards on the ground, 115 of which went to the NFL's leading rusher, proving they can play small ball against a club with a good rushing O and a tough defense.

Here's the way I see this game right now...

Oakland doesn't have the secondary nor the defensive line/linebackers to stop a KC offensive attack. KC is going to be able to move the ball and score on this club. KC will also win the coaching battle hands down, as well as the field position battle. So that leaves it to Oakland to keep up a scoring pace with the Chiefs. If, and it's a big if, Porter is back, the Raiders may be able to stretch the field and move the ball through the air. The Raiders don't have the offensive line manpower to take advantage of KC's lack of Run defense, so it's going to be up to Gannon and Co. to score points through the air. If Porter isn't available, that is going to be a very tough task.

Good luck this week and if anybody knows anything about Porter yet, let me know. I'll keep an eye out...

GO CUBS!

how is a line of 3.5 in road chalk surprising to a division rival, especially on monday night. chiefs in off a miracle comeback in lambau. why on earth would they be laying more? if anything, im surprised the lines not a little lower- possibly 2 or 2.5.

chiefs are undefeated, but could have EASILY LOST their last three games.

yes i understand the bottom line is they found a way to win, but why would you be rushing to get down on 3.5 points of road chalk to a rival after kc has had a lot of close calls lately?

Agreed but do you really think Oakland can score 28 points in a game against a half decent defence? I think there is no chance, Unless KC trys to play as crappy as Oaklands been playing for the last 6 weeks, this should be a breeze for KC. They have more consistancy and faith in their team and each other. Oakland on the other hand has soo many family issues its not funny. The team is broken from the inside. No one is on the same page. Defense looks bad. Offense was their best thing and now they can't even beat the Bears and get only 7 points against Clevland after losing to the Bears? Really, Oakland is done for the year. They might as well pack it up now. The only 2 wins they have, they should have lost.

Only hope for Oakland IMO is getting back Jerry Porter. Even though I think it still will be too late for them. OAKLAND IS DONE!

IMO lets just all wait till the .5 hook is removed from the book and then load up on KC -3. As soon as anyone knows where I can get that number, please post. Thanks and GL to all

THIS GAME HAS BEEN CIRCLED FROM THE START OF THE SEASON. THE CHIEFS HAVE BEEN OUTPLAYED AT TIMES AND STILL THEY WON. WHEN HAVE THE RAIDERS OUTPLAYED ANYONE THIS YEAR ? THERE IS NO ONE WHO WOULD BE HAPPIER THAN ME TO WATCH THE RAIDERS BEAT THE CHIEFS. I HAVE WATCHED EVERY RAIDERS GAME THIS YEAR AND I DON'T SEE IT. THE MIRACLE ON MNF LAST YEAR WAS DUE TO ONE IDIOT = RAY RHODES (ONE OF THE MOST OVERRATED DEF CORD IN THE NFL!!!) RICH GANNON HAD A CAREER NIGHT. DO WHAT YOU WILL. BUT IF MY TEAM IS GOING TO LOSE BIG I CAN AT LEAST MAKE $$ OFF OF IT.

Right now at Betcris, the line is KC-3 (-130). Enjoy but I dont think it will go lower anywhere else. I bought the .5pt for -10cents which is still cheaper. I have a local book.

Good Luck

Sucker bets are doing pretty well this year. It's one thing not to be on a public team on Monday Night, but it's another thing to put your money on a team that can't run the ball and can't stop the run. KC's been outplayed, stat-wise, for 3 weeks now, so obviously they're doing the things that show up on the scoreboard and not on the stat sheets.

a sucker bet?

a sucker bet?

you mean like miami -3 last week?.......a lot of suckers collected on that bet.....

the coaching mismatch is worth 4 points alone.....somebody finally realized that if you make gannon throw more than a 10 yard slant, the raider offense is helpless....

that`s an overstatement, for all you raider fans..........;) but,you do have a bit of a coaching vaccuum over there right now....
