What you don't seem to get is that humans are animals, intelligent animals yes, but still animals. We are also the most violent animal on the earth. We are the only animal that kills for sport, or pleasure. Yes, humans kill for pleasure. The sooner you realize this is the sooner you will realize that our species has been doomed since inception. from what I understand even a complete amateur can change a clip in about 2 seconds.
and in this case, the magazine size would be a moot point if he is standing in the doorway blocking the only exit.
he was wearing a military style vest, correct? could easily carry a few extra clips instead of 1 or 2 large ones.
whats the answer then? lay down and forget about it and hope a magical solution presents itself and this never happens again?
