Ok, so you think banning guns is going to make that number decrease? Ok, thats fine. Now please tell me the negatives that will arise with the banning of firearms.
Better yet, go ahead and make a list of all the pros and cons of banning arms. Then we can properly discuss this.

Look I have no problem with someone having a gun in their house but seriously how can you not question a system that allows an obvious mentally ill 20 year old legally purchase all these weapons.

I am not for banning all guns.
Why do you immediately think that people for banning all guns? Do you think the current system works? Look at those countries with stricter gun laws and the lower rate?
Do you feel safer knowing that mentally unstable people are allowed to stockpile weapons?
We need stricter laws and it needs to be harder to buy guns.

Seriously I doubt you have the mental capacity to properly manage a firearm so I understand the concern you show to anymore possible restrictions on gun purchase.
don`t do what nonsense?..kill people?...my brother,i want to live where you live...live in any big city or near the southwestern border and see how important having a weapon for protection is....not everybody in this country lives in a protective little suburban bubble....and response time from the authorities will never be adequate......
we`ve had repeating firearms for around 150 years....we really didn`t have this kind of craziness back in the day(certainly not to this extent)..the last decade or so has been insane.....maybe it`s the decline of morality/our culture(i`m surmising here)?..the oversaturation of social media(i.e. video games/facebook/internet forums) depersonalizing our fellow human beings?..maybe we`re overdoing the medication of our young(ritalin etc)?.....i don`t know.....something`s wrong and i`m not sure it`s just guns...
there are over 300 million of us out there...and 10`s of thousands with noggins that have some seriously f`ed up wiring.....that`s scary...but,i`m extremely reticent about letting any government disarm the citizenry....i sleep easier knowing i can protect my family ....
i feel like something has to happen...just not sure what...
