One thing that hasn't been discussed is the reduction of safety nets for the mentally ill. In the past many of these patients were institutionalized. Now they are thrown back into the community to fend for themselves.
if

^^Probably be what is found after investigation^^

Ritalin at an early age then whatever meds when institutionalized and today is the result

Play Retema 10 cent triples..........

taking guns away will never work

BULL FUCKING SHIT!

It might not work by the end of our lifetime, but it will work. Narrow gun ownership to hunting rifles and shotguns. You don't NEED anything else. Let's quit lying to ourselves. So fucking sad. All those poor kids died because a mentally ill person had access to a small arsenal.

You never heard of this kind of shit 20 years ago. I am sure there were plenty of mentally ill people back then. Nothing anyone can say can to justify this action of today. Make all the excuses you want, is the sign of today's society. :0008

Yeah, they were all locked the fuck up. Now the poor and the ill are spit on in this country. So they get no help and they are released into society.

You are exactly right. You didn't hear of this type of thing 20 years ago.
I'll sure many will disagree with this, but I feel that this shit is happening from a very undisciplined society of young people who have no respect and no morals. The kid who committed this tragedy today probably fits this situation well.
A good friend of mine teaches 6th grade math. You would not believe some of the shit he tells me goes on. A while back, one of the kids in his class was screwing around while he was writing on the board. He turns around, catches the boy goofing off, tells him to go out in the hallway for the remainder of the class. The kid just sits there. So he tells him again to get up and leave the classroom. The boys response: FUCK YOU! (again, this is a 12 year old kid)
Now I don't know exactly what goes on inside schools in todays age, but if someone pulled that stunt back in my day, they probably wouldn't have been able to sit comfortably for days. Teachers can't even discipline kids today. Hell not only would I have gotten an ass whooping for that, when I got home my old man would have finished it off.
I live in a rural area. When I was young, we didn't even lock the doors at night. We could go away for a few days and not lock the house. We left the keys in the ignition switch in the vehicles. It was rare to hear of someone getting robbed or any other crimes of any kind. That isn't the case today.
As far as guns go, I don't have a problem banning automatic weapons and assault rifles. But banning all guns is ridiculous. For those of you that think any and all weapons should be banned, tell me what would happen to companies like Remington, Mossburg, Winchester, ect? I know some of you hunt and some don't. But this would also mean a complete shutdown of all hunting and game commission. Do you have any idea how overpopulated the wildlife would become?
Not to take anything away from the tragic loss of life that happened today in Connecticut, but I guarantee you 100's of more people died today in the US in automobile accidents. Like the old saying goes, "guns don't kill, it's the nut with his finger on the trigger"

Good response airhead. I wouldn't except any less from you. I'm sure you ass buddy partners Tramp and Shawn will be along soon too.

shouldnt you be jerking off to pictures of sprint cars and guns?

your worry about guns is not the tragic deaths but the negative impact the gun companies would have if they were banned. what a piece of work you are.

Does your common sense tell you which is designed to kill and which is designed to get you to work?

Absolutely! Either will do a damn fine job at killing when improperly used.
I know you don't like guns Nuts. I'm fine with that. But I don't think you have any clue what the outcome of "banning all guns" would do to society. Sure a few lives would be saved from senseless murderers. Tell me how that will help employment, wildlife management, fuck it I'll just stop there for now.
THATS where the common sense comes in.
