Does anyone have an idea of how the buy-out will work? We will be given BoDog accounts? Will they just send us our money? Man this stinks.....

WWTS is a joke, this has been going on for way too long. No one in the right mind would buy them. I dont see why bodog would even be interested. The poker client sucked and so did the overall site. No ones going to want to have money in that place no matter who buys it.
what i understand about the deal (who really knows what's going to happen?).......
first, it has to be voted on by shareholders. that could take weeks or months?
then, i heard they will still be operating in antigua as a seperate book, not under the bodog name.
so, i guess, after it's all finalized, they will be operating as usual.
(this is what i've heard so i don't really know exactly how it's going to work)

---back to your question Al. Had similiar occur twice where book folded and one was bought by sportingbet and one Olympic. In both situations full amount was credited at book that took them over--you then withdraw or do as you wished.
Recently Sportingbet was sold out as you know for a $1. However one week after their annoucement they refunded my balance to my neteller account.
--On WTTS I am in same boat as you as I have funds there. One thing about them they at least let you see your balance--Sportingbet and a few others I had close to U.S. would not even let you access account. I am confident our monies are not in jeopardy but agree a pain in ass the way it is being handled.

what is it called in your country when somebody prevents a person from getting access to their money ?
where i come from it's called STEALING !!
and all your e-mail shows is that the antigua gov't.condones STEALING.
i guess wwts pays alot of taxes for your gov't. to look the other way when they are STEALING other people's money.or are you getting money under the table to look the other way. which is it.
you asked me to be patient, but how would you feel if it was your money ?
i have asked wwts to transfer MY money to another book of their choice, but they refused.

This is a joke... Im lucky I only have 100 in my account there, but I'd still like it back. Like I said before, I cant see why anyone would want to buy WWTS.

I jsut talked with WWTS... I had a rather large bet I placed on the Cards to win the world series just before the all-star break at there site. I have thousands of dollars in there and they have everything locked up to withdraw or do anything. They said US Citizens accounts will be back to normal by November 16th. But til then everything is locked up.
