On the course!
We have at least 10 more days up here. Mid 60s this weekend.

I have played almost 200 rounds this season!

Probably the best November day I've ever played golf. Close to 70 degrees, and no wind.

With the exception of shitty putting, I played the best I ever have. 17/18 GIR, missed one fairway. Shot a 72, and missed 7 putts inside 7 feet. Four were inside 4 feet.

Tomorrow........

Yes, we play down for the most part. When it is really wet, we clean the ball and fluff it up. Today was down.

It's amazing what playing every day does to improve the game. I went from a 14 handicap to a 7. Our course is only 6000 yards, and there isn't a shitload of trouble, either. If I play a tougher setup, I can add 10 shots to the score!

Played yesterday here in Columbus, OH. I'll play again in 2 hours :0074

That's great, Eric! Over the last 3 years, my handicap dropped from 12 to 6.5. Playing every weekend helps, but playing a tough course forced me to get better. I hope we can get together and play sometime soon.

I like that you are shooting that, but my point was the same as Gary's. With a slope like you mentioned awhile back of 118 or 119, you cannot be using all the clubs in your bag. Hell, most womens tees at clubs have higher slope rating with that yardage. It just seems you would get bored hitting driver that can go anywhere on a course that you say is wide open with no trouble, and then a wedge or 9 iron into each green. Good for you on lowering the handicap.

I sure do wish we could all get together for a true golf trip down in Betones or my area and play the Robert Trent Jones courses. Just a bunch of guys that truly want to play golf with some side bets and teaming up.
