I agree... Another reason I have not been posting around here lately...... Dont know who these guys are that upset everyone lately, but I got sick of having to 'defend' what the hell I was posting or not posting or if it was on time, blah blah blah....

I hope this banning of peeps wakes this board up a bit and it gets back to the great old board I have loved for the last 8 yrs.... BASEBALL IS COMING UP MARCH 3rd I believe...

Have to agree as well. Like some others have said, I don't even really mean to take sides here... but it just seems so simple. I could disagree about countless things with numerous guys on this forum, be it politics, religion, graphic pictures, their word choice, or simple annoying nuances like constantly typing in all caps. The point is, one can always simply ignore what's not forced upon them, and in a forum where one must clicks on threads to read the commentary, that amounts to nothing. If these guys were entering into other's threads and causing this trouble, case closed, they should be gone. But despite the fact that the majority seemed to dislike them, it was the same majority at the heart of the issue. Offensive shit takes place all day long around here--inciting it is what leads to trouble. :kiss:

Regardless...

I could care less who is allowed to post here and who isn't. These guys had a nice run and may have some sports knowledge...who cares...I went 16-0 two Tuesdays ago so even Canadians :rolleyes: can get lucky sometimes.

I just came back about a week ago and I was surprised to find that certain words were no longer eliminated, like they used to be--you knowhatimean, likely.
Glad to see that. We're all grown men and women here, so if emphasis is indicated by some slurrage then what-the-funk (oops...habit).

As for the pseudo-popular dudes (dude?) in question, he or they were rather disrespectful to others on the forum. In worked both ways--sure--others were trouncing on them as well, maybe for good reasons or for bad.
Either way, they were pretty distasteful and also incited some B.S. that otherwise shouldn't occur here.

Probably a tough decision for Jack but likely the right one.

When I first started coming here I would tail who seemed to be in the know. Remember following Nolan Dalla's (sic?) NFL pretty closely. Still like some others, especially when hot. Not why I come here, though, and not why I came back. I have miniscule contacts (2 guys, really) in town who play the sports. I do pretty heavily and have for ages. I like to associate with others who share this interest and I have had some good times here over these past--what is it?--9 years or so.

People should just take whatever for what it's worth.
If you figure it ain't worth nothing then ignore it.
Some people are unsettling, however, and that's where politics or the legal system comes in.
Moderators jobs, I guess.
