I sinceley wish the Dems had a better candidate. The more Kerry speaks the more votes he loses. The Repubs are very good at twisting things their way. Things like the terrorists want Kerry to win. Why? What has Bush done to stop terrorism. He did not attack Iraq because of terrorism, he attacked because of WMD's and Resolutions. Rather than stay on the trail of the terrorists he had flushed when he had the Taliban on the run he gave them time to regroup while we spend our resources defending some UN Resolutions.
A vote for anyone but Bush will hopefully bring the world together in the fight against terrorism. We will not have to go at it alone. Kerry may not be the best man for the job but he ain't Bush and Bush has ignored the terrorists long enough in order to defend those damn resolutions he was so hot to trot about.

stevie,

we have debated this issue on this board probably more thoroughly than congress did.

and that is unfortunate for us.

but you like eddie, kosar, bj, & the other fine posters who voiced their opinion against the war in iraq, there are other well respected posters (dtb, chanman, turfgrass, etc) on this forum who disagree with your stance, including me.

lets talk about a more important topic.

.
are you ready for some football ???

with an excellent running back, you should be sky high about the pats coming year.

Stevie If that is correct I sure have been misinformed. I could swear in his address to the nation after 911 that his agenda was to go after the axis of evils naming several of which Iraq was included. So far I think he is carrying out that promise despite opposition in this country and I give him credit for sticking to his guns despite critisism. As with Kerry and past administration it is so easy to stradle fence and try and please everyone. Classic example I've seen what others do when oil prices get high--they release our reserves despite the risk envolved to lower prices short term--how easy would that be for Bush to do with vote in balance at this late stage of game.
People can call him stupid or whatever but the man has principles.

Oh yes the old axis of evil. Myself I would have rather gone after one of them who was actually responsible for 911. I seem to remember Bush mentioning those resolutions an awful lot.
And AR... I am more than ready for football this year! My Patsies look awful good!

I think, I guess I hope we start to hear more about what were going to do about the deficit. Health care cost, including drugs that are over priced. Taxes going up locally. Or state tax to cover drop of funds coming from the feds. This do to tax cuts that were just to big and at a time were trying to fight a war. It does little good to give tax breaks then just get it taken back from you by the states or your city. Highways are turning to chit and no energy policy. This info is what I want to see from these guys. How you going to fix some of these problems. How you going to get the funds to the local level to help with schools so our property taxes don't have to go up so fast. How we going to see our farmers get a fair price with out making you feel your going broke at the grocery store. What are we going to do to get half our troops out of Iraq and get more help from others. Right now we just are not getting enough from these two guys. Nam and gay rights and abortion just don't get it done anymore.

Safe to say the lies and the main stream media
bias to Kerry backfired...liberals need a new game
plan...one that doesn't hinge on deceit and
desception...one of positives instead of negatives..
I said many times, the democratic party could
not have picked a worse candidate...that was the
understatement of the year...this election was
for the taking, and they blew it..you can't win
an election with hatred...especially with a stiff
like Kerry...glad it's over, I quit arguing in this
forum 2 months ago, wasn't worth it and time
was spent being happy instead of worked up
over something I have no control of anyway...
We are all Americans and it's time to join together
and fight the enemy together... :)
