Share the road, Jack.
I have far more patience driving for runners than I do for cyclists though bc I hate riding bikes, and I like to run.
Oh. So it's all about what you like. Nice.

They hold up traffic. And they're mad and blaming the motorists? Gimme a break. The motorists have no choice but to take the roads and we're going somewhere. They are leisurely riding around and holding shit up and they can go somewhere else where it's safe.
I have the answer. Do the speed limit or get the fuck off the road.
I drive a stretch almost daily that's about 8 miles long and the speed limit is 40. It's one of those roads where you think it should be higher speed limit and if you are going the limit there's always an asshole right on your ass. You learn your lesson the day you get the $250 fine for speeding.
Anyway, these bikers are going 15MPH-20MPH and they are fucking up the whole flow of things. It's a busy road! AND THEY ACT LIKE THEY OWN IT. Do the speed limit or go!
Okay, I'll calm down now.
Since these fuckers seem to think they own the road they should obey the traffic laws. I'm sure city budgets would be flowing if the gave them all tickets for not stopping at a stop sign. FUCK THEM.
When I ride my bike and obey the laws, I get hit. The only way to survive on a bike (in the city anyway) is to live by your own rules. I assume everyone is just like the people in this thread and either won't see me or will intentionally try to take me out. :0008
MadJack, you would bust an artery here in Costa Rica, bikes everywhere, scooters, people walking on highways, dogs everywhere, herds of cows, chickens, wild animals, broken down cars in the road (no shoulders) and cars parked in the road making two lane roads one lane only. There are no reflectors on most of the bikes and no lights on most of the scooters. Street lights are few and far between. It's like a freaking obstacle course. Using your phone while driving here is suicide.

I don't care about this, been on the boat most of the day, no bikes here.
I would see you and would not and try and take you out. It just seems to me as a whole bike riders are getting worse in their sense of entitlement on the road. The fact there also is MORE doesn't help any. Doesn't seem to be more joggers then before, at least in my area. Anyway, be safe smuphy.

Why is it the fault of the cars and trucks on the road? Go somewhere OFF the fucking road. If I road a bike, I would go somewhere OFF the road and ride. A place where it's safe. It's dangerous riding on the roads. Period. I might be a dick, but Jesus, GTFO the road. Seriously. Same with joggers. Go to the High School track.

Many use bikes as transportation, so off road is not a viable alternative to riding on the street.
