I am going to see about playing either Philly (Ut Oh) or Gulfstream Park today (Sat).

I've always had luck SPOTTING horses that are ready to run at Philly but last couple of days I nailed a few at GP - ON PAPER, of course
.... I'm always a little leery bout G.P. Not today though.

Today I am going to WATCH and PLAY both tracks and gradually stick to the one that is treating me better. I can post a spotter with about 4 mins. to post IF ANYBODY IS INTERESTED but you need to chime in here for me to do it cause I gotta rush a bit in order to do it.

I'll check back here if anybody's interested prob. after the first race. Remember - there is NOT a play in every race for either track.

ALREADY, Parx started the crapola.... enough scratches in the first race to make it a 5 hoss race

Favorite is 2 to 5. I think the track is making the decision for me.

Meanwhile - HUGE fields at Gulfstream, YUM YUM!
BTW, I just capped the first race and the no. 3 has to go in some kinda exotic so far.

We were waiting for the calble guy to upgrade my stuff

OF COURSE, he comes with the wrong box for the TV. Since I'm getting the phones also through Comcast - he had to replace the modem that I PAID 80 bucks about a month ago for THEIR modem so that the phones work on their digital sys. SOB

Anyways, thats what we were waiting for.

OK, we're back in business.. I just checked what happened at Gulf in the first.. not so good. No. 3 didn't get out too well, closed in the stretch for 4th but you don't get a cent for that spot no matter how you played it. BTW, I never did get a chance to L@@K at them in the prerace, the cable dude was knocking on the door.

How bout that abortion called Parx? The usual with them too. Looks like they started the races on a track that looked like quick sand. Got two races in before cancelling.... now the 10 people who went through the slick drive to get there can go to their casino and pull some slot machine handles. What a JOKE!

These are the kinda races ya SKIP. Don't like what I'm seeing at GP too much so far.... horses coming off vacations and winning. Not good.

SPOTING something may work, but handicapping prob. won't. For me anyways.

EDITING THIS --- just to mention that this 5th is more of the same.. layoff specials. NOT FOR ME. I checked them out in the paddock and didn't see anything worthwhile. I'll keep plugging along.. .. maybe something good will show up.. but I'm not gonna wait for the whole day.

Congrats to those who put the 4,5,6,7 pills in the bottle, shook it up, came up with the 5 and the 7.

I came up with the 4 pretty much who was right there all the way, CEPT when it counted.

Skipped the 8th, best move I made all day, first time starter in a huge field wins at 6=5... wunderful!

More terd...er make that TURF for the 9th. Odds ain't up yet but whose gonna beat the no. 8?? got me?

gotta wait for them to put up the current odds on that 8.

Ok, odds are up and my worst fears are realized.. thems betting the no. 3. UGH!

IF the 8 screws up, I'm playing my "magic" nos. in this one (now NOBODY is gonna visit me) they are 1-3-6 BOXED. TRIFECTA. Only for a buck or two.

Right now, asiide from the magic nos., the 7's odds are much to hight so he's a play if they stay up there a bit AND the 3's odds are much too low.. BUT they should go up and that one IS a play.

Sorry, this is so iffy, but it ain't easy making money on days like this.
