1) Texas - VERY similar to the '98 Tenn team in my eyes... more on that later.
2) Michigan - being a huge Buckeye fan it hurts to say but how can they possibly top last year, plus the game @Ann Arbor could have both teams undefeated and again hold the fate of the Big-10 crown.
3)LSU
4)Pitt - two teams here who are getting overlooked within their own conference by most, Miami and Auburn seem to be the favorite, but could be big surprises this year. Also they have their toughest games at home (UM, VT for Pitt/Fla, Aub for LSU) which should greatly help both.
5)FSU - I never thought the day would come where a Bowden team would be a question mark to hit double digit wins but it's happened the last two seasons. I'm not going to bet against this team not only rebounding but making a push for the National Title come January...
Sleeper: ASU - Reminds me a lot of solid Kansas State teams the past 5 years with a great offense, solid D-Backs and an othewise questionable defense. Having USC at home and no Washington on the schedule should help to reach double digit wins. We'll know early how this team will do with brutal 3 game stretch of @Iowa, @Oregon St, vs. USC. At the very least a solid team which will be fun to watch and may suprise many...
