SPAC is an outdoor ampitheater. About 5,000 seats inside and then seats on the lawn. Watched a bunch of great groups on the lawn!!....Back in the 70's ..Credence..Blood Sweat and Tears and Who!! Can't even remember all the shows... Aero in the 80"s.
I canhear this place from my house!! Used to go to every concert in the 70's and 80's...........:tongue

I saw the Doobie Brothers near Baltimore in one of those theatres around 1980. I never smelled so much weed!!!! :mj07:
I have seen 100s of concerts(including the Doobies twice) and the one I smelled (and participated) the most weed was Rick James and Prince....especially when Rick came out on stage and says "You know what I wanna do....Fire It Up"....and reaches in his jacket and pulls out a 12 inch blunt and fired it up!!!:weed:
Holy shit....saw the the Doobies and another group the same nite. They used to book 3 bands the same nite back in the 70's-80's
