How is it the exexutives in charge of this crap don't know that Theisman is a pompous ass? And the worst announcer in sports? And why can't somebody explain it to em? How do you run a billion dollar operation making decisions like that?
I'll still watch MNF, but it'll be muted. :cursin:

Same here ... I rarely watched Sunday night football unless it was a great game or the Eagles were on because I can't stand him. Anyone know who the Sunday night announcers are going to be?

Ditto for me on Theismann....

haven't listened to ANY announcers on a NFL game at home in years. Its either the national radio guys on SNf/ MNF or a CD. Makes the games almost watchable....:D

Jack, you stole my thunder, I was thinking the same exact thing man....Not to mention the fact that Theismann HATES my New York Giants, and all he does is make stupid remarks like "you talk about a guy who can......." but, the only consolation is that there's no more Paul McGuire, but you're right, it is going to be tough to watch MNF, it already is anyway because it ends so damn late at night and has so many commercials

I don't mind Madden. He's pretty funny a lot of times. MUCH better than Theismann.

Michaels and Madden are a MUCH better team than Maguire, Patrick and Theisman. That's just obvious.

Definately agree on Theisman being awful.......

I will appreciate listening to Mike Patrick with somebody else now. I think Patrick is one of the better ones going.

LOL Matt, you got me laughing my a$$ off with that wisecrack......I assume now that with NBC having Sundays, Patrick will be gone, and with Michaels on Mondays, I dont know where Patrick fits in, besides 'taming' Duke Vitale during college basketball season

That wasn't a wisecrack. I liked the sunday team better. I don't know what kind of haze madjack has surrounding him, but then again I rarely do.

The Sunday Night guys are awful. Frankly I hate Mike Patrick worst of all. It is bad enough listening to him every basketball season.

LOL, well you do pride yourself on being 'non traditional and off the cuff' so I can see how you like those yahoo's. The only thing I liked about them was the cracks between Theisman and McGuire hating on each other, Patrick screamed a bit much for my taste. Maddens a bit overrated Id agree, would probably like Phil Simms in that slot as he's great (not because he was a Giant) or Collinsworth or even Aikman, Theisman will think a ref calling roughing the passer on a tap on the shoulder is the right call!
