Above the Clouds....
Kind of quiet this year. Which I like. Spent last Xmas with our son in Utah. This year daughter is expecting twins and she and husband will be here for Xmas. Will see my Mom on Xmas day for a few hours and then home for steaks and all the good things. Plenty of booze and food. We do a nontraditional dinner and it's steak, garlic potatos, veggie, rolls etc. Maybe apple pie for desert. What's everyone else having?

Saturday, shop.

Sunday work half a day early, deal with her family the minute I get home, put the kids toys together, get drunk.

Monday, open up gifts, deal with her family AGAIN (****), get ready for work Tuesday or kill myself.

I hate ****ing holidays with the passion of 1000 suns.

Goin to the relatives X mas Eve.............

Half are """Born Agains"...so no Sex Politics or Religion can be discussed.........will be boring

Udderwise will catch up on how many new Millionaires my 47 year old "drop" Dead Gorgeous Cousin" has on the string.
Unfortunately most of em have been Right Wing Republican business men and are as boring a group of Dullards as u kin find.
Should have stayed with her Tree Hugger Leftie
Millionaire 1st husband.
I'm bringin da Booze Deserts and BBQ ribs and i will have to endure listening to em thankin Jesus fer the bounty before we eat ..when in reality it was the evils of Gamblin' that paid fer the festivities.
Merry X mas anyway from an Atheist.

My new neighbor is totally hot so I masturbated on her dog the other day. So I will probably spend most of the weekend peering out my kitchen window waiting for her to pet the dog, at which time I will iron man it again. After that I am pretty much open.

At the bar
I don't have any family so I'll be putting some money on some football and basketball this weekend and getting shitfaced. I've got a few things to do around the bar so we can get open on Tuesday. Merry Christmas Jack and all Madjackers!

We are done shopping and wrapping already. First time we won't be wrappping on Christmas Eve. Sunday afternoon at my Mom's with the six ten year olds. I have ten year old triplets, one brother with 10 year old twins and the other with a single ten year old. Lots of fun. Watching the Pats while opening presents will put an interesting twist on the day. Lots of food and drink. Monday we go to the in-laws. Good times at both places. Lots of laughs all weekend. This is a great time of year! I love it! The kids love it!

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it and happy holidays to the others.

Most of the time I lurk and follow plays. Thank you to all Madjackers! I appreciate your insight!!

my wife of 6 months is 5 and a half months pregnant, so this christmas has basically been all me, since she seems to sleep about 18 hours a day.

wrapped my 7 yr old daughters presents two nights ago, about 20 wrappings all told. tonight the misses and 7 yr old started out strong wrapping about 4 gifts, before the wife got tired and the 7 yr old got distracted, so i wrapped another 20 gifts for family/wife tonight, (while i watched my rice play go down the sh*tter. f-in armstrong kid, was going thru the motions, he couldn't wait for the game/season to end - no excuse, better team won and covered)

leaves about another 20 gifts to wrap tomorrow, (which i plan on leaving for the misses:rolleyes: - since they are for her family (9 siblings, 5 nephews/nieces) ) while i go out early for a couple of last minute things.

long run tomorow afternoon, 48 man holdem tourney tomorrow night. drive to my folks christmas eve, back home that night, to drag all the kids presents downstairs, so she can rip them open in 1/20th the time it took to wrap them, then off to the in-laws for christmas day - 22 all told, slammin back beers, eatin food and watching my birds kick the snot of the cowboys.

ahhh, the holidays....

seriously, the older i get, the more i appreciate time with family, especially at christmas. both my parents are in their late 60's - have their health and wits about them, but i know another ten years could tell a different story, so i try hard to separate myself from my work this time of year, slow the clock down a bit, and make the most of the time we have together.

merry christmas and happy holidays to everyone.

In a few minutes I'll be departing to make the Christmas rounds in North Carolina. First, we're off to Benson (which, I think, is in the eastern middle part of the state) to see my other half's folks, then heading west on Sunday to Charlotte for my side of the family.

I've travelled almost every holiday of my adult life. Yes, I bitch and moan, but I can't imagine not having a family to spend this time with. Best wishes to all of you for a very merry Christmas!

I leave Christmas Night for Cocoa Beach FL, where I will be driving to Disney in Orlando for 4 days reffing some big high school boys tourney in FL. Will make just under a grand, more than I can make up here in Indiana and I get half of the days to hang out on the beach, and still get home in time to go out in Indy for New Years Eve

Of course have to go do some quick shopping today, Christmas with the family today.
