Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
Bellagio special suite above fountains

Bellagio special suite above fountains

Took my wife last year for 25th anniv

Fabulous, the views, atmoshere, buffet, poker-room, about $180 per, but the Candle lit whirlpool B.J. was most memorable....:brows:

thanks all for the help! Nothing like knowing a bunch of degenerate gamblers when looking to book for Las Vegas :mj07:

Went with the Monte Carlo. I followed Vinnie's link, and it was an awesome price, but they charge the cc and there are NO cancellations for any reason. That scared me :scared , so I called the hotel, and the woman gave me a package with the same rates plus 20 bucks or so a night, but it also came with buffets, spas, microbrewery, etc. that all cost well over the 80 bucks difference, plus, if something catastrophic happens, I can cancel and not be screwed out of my money. :00hour

The above rates (top of the thread) were through Southwest for air and hotel combined, but I did the air and hotel seperately and got it cheaper. go figure.

I got the tickets through Southwest for 200 a piece round trip (no stops/layovers/connections :00hour ), so total cost for the hotel for 4 nights and airfare including taxes is $835. :Yep:

Can't wait, thanks for the help, and I think I got a pretty good deal especially considering my original thought was the chitty Circus Circus and almost 600 bucks more :scared

sixfive...

good choice...i'm sure that you & the wife will enjoy it.

the micro brewery is a sports bar..where we had a madjack's getogether last year...

for a special night take your wife to the dinner buffet at the wynn....it'll cost you about $80 with tip..but well worth it....& make sure you bring a camera....really beautiful hotel....

also try to get a room with a strip view..

enjoy !!

That $20 cab ride to the strip kinda sux !!

SouthPoint really limits what you can do, unless you have a rental, or a pocket full of cab fares !!!

hmm, cab fares... Guess I need to know the tips on how not to get swindled by the cabbies, customary fares, customary tips, etc., because I'm sure that I will scream tourist noob when I'm there. :SIB

WOW!!! Just looked at the rates to fly from Louisville, and they were about 80 bucks more for each person each way. Checked the flights I already booked, and they have more than doubled since I booked this week on Tuesday. Maybe Clint got a good deal for once! :00hour

I had a friend that use to kill horses by betting on them. Six Five has definitely topped him.:mj07:
