I'm gonna eat pierogies every day as I listen to my Best of Frankie Valli cd and count the grey hairs on my nut sack. All the while wondering why I'm not quietly "getting into" golf as the years pass.

According to Dr. Ted Gansler, director of Medical Content for the American Cancer Society, eating excessive amounts of grilled meat or chicken can increase your risk of developing cancer. This is also true for pan-fried meats at high temperatures.

Current research tells us that the well done or charred meats pose the highest risk.

The problem that cooking at very high temperatures break down the amino acid, creatine, in meats. When this occurs, chemical is formed, heterocyclic amines (HAs). HAs are carcinogenic and are linked to cancer.

:scared :scared

I am going w/ some Thai steamed trout & broiled Lobster tails.

FECK THAT!

I read about 6 years ago that apples cause cancer, too.

But I guess I'm safe since I'm smoking all of it at 230 degrees. :)

Well originally I was going to go to Lake Lewisville on Saturday but now it looks like I will will be passing out flyers in Dallas to see if anyone needs a bit of "yardwork" done.

and Kelly, what the hell is this about a new boyfriend crap. Those hedgetrimmers I got you were a token of my love and yet again I get spurned. Your lucky though, I just happen to have a special going this weekend and this weekend only. I will not only mow the lawn but trim the hedges for half price. Don't act yet as I will throw in a free carpet cleaning as well. What do ya say, we on? References can be provided upon request:SIB

need to go have checkup as surely I haver cancer as for past 20 7years have grilled out 5 times a week for 9 months of year and 3 times a week the other 3 months using 90% charcoal.

will be grilling all weekend starting tonight with chicken tenders, saturday with grilled bacon wrapped shrimp and grilled vegiees, also start boston butt on smoker early sunday morning 1 or 2 am before I pass out from the beers and should be ready around 5 pm sunday afternoon. will put smoked sausages on smoker last three hours.

have 4 cases of beer to last till tuesday and hope this should be enough unless some of my beerless friends stop by. will try to stay off of road and save gas and watch some baskets, bases and a lot of racing.
