First off I have the Utmost respect for the Ravens defense. But thats about it.

I just read in the Pitt Gazette how Flacco thinks he can take advantage of the Steelers porous secondary and will go after Troy being hampered with a calf strain, after watching PHillip the PUSSY throw for 308 yards. LOL Over 100 of those yards came in the 4th when the game was already in hand. Good Luck Joe.

While Flacco is about the only Raven free of murder, abuse, dwi and drug charges....i personally hope they crack his fuckin head open and throw his sorry ass like they ragdolled pour ole Phillip.

I also love seeing and hearing from reporters, broadcasters and forum posters talk about how hard it is to defeat a team 3 times in a year. GET A FUCKIN CLUE.......61% Fellas 61% Sit back have a beer or 10 and watch a real fuckin team for a change instead of them panzy ass purple murderers.

I feel better now thank you

IF YOU AINT A STEELER FAN YOU AINT SHIT

that poster has to realize that both games between these two came down to the very end.....to one or two plays....the last one highly questionable....

any objective football afficionado understands that there was very little to choose between these clubs in their 2 games....

and i think that if the pitt defense,as strong as it is,can be exploited in some manner,it`s probably in their secondary, which has not really been all that consistent the last few years....theres a reason why james harrison was named def. player of the year...i think you can thank him for helping that secondary out by putting consistent pressure on the steelers` opposing qbs..

all that said, imo, the ravens` misfortune with the storm that hit houston earlier in the year and resulted in them having to play "17 stright games" and the injury factor(along with homefield),will probably be the determining factors in another very physical game.....

my hope is that if the ravens lose, that they can cripple pittsburgh in a similar manner that the tennessee game crippled the ravens.....enabling weaker philly or arizona clubs to steal the super bowl....

have you ever heard of a full Nelson ?

you will feel the rath of Jack shortly dipstick

nah...just looking forward to a good game.

:toast:

most likely the game will be won by the team that wins the turnover battle and i like the ravens chances in that department.

the injury factor and the no rest factor is blown way out of proportion, weasie. they been saying that chit all year.

i hope you`re right ,commander...nothing would please me more than to lose my semi-substantial wager on the squeelers -2.5......

considering a middle as we speak...

that's a great middle opportunity with these 2 teams. you'd be 2-0 with that scenario in the regular season.

THEN, you can actually root for your boys.

there's all this speculation that Falcco comes out firing. i don't think so. he'll definitely air it out a lot but those plays are pretty safe and if he connects :mj06:

i think he throws the ball 20-25 times and we try to keep it on the ground for the most part.

Good Luck!

obviously i had to buy into that-2.5....so i chance losing more juice than usual with a middle play....

but these teams play each other soooo tough....

extremely tempting....

The only way he throws 20-25 times is if they are losing early and by more than a score. I highly doubt they will take chances if it's a close game, i.e. see Ben's first AFC Championship. No need, give yourself an opportunity in the fourth quarter with that defense.

he'll throw 20 times easily no matter the score. he'll air it out 10 times and throw away 5+ times. none of those 15 throws are taking much of a chance and he will do that for sure.

he has to throw because we will have problems running. come on.

So. Cal
he may throw 25 times and according to form, complete 10

i think their lack of offense finally derails them....and the injury thing is big this week as that game vs tenn was brutal for both sides.....way more injuries and dings in that game than in most normal games

btw, anything can happen tomorrow and if the steelers do win, it doesn't mean you were right and it still doesn't mean you know what you're talking about, because you don't.

thanks and enjoy the game :toast:

okay, i found some time and went and got you some facts.

"according to form" - guess what? his QB rating for the entire regular season is higher than big ben, his completion percentage is higher than big ben, he completed 60% of his passes during the full 16 game regular season.flacco was intercepted 12 times, big ben 15. flacco has big ben beat in 30+ yard completions 47-42.

flacco and the ravens didn't have the easy home game last week vs a higher inferior opponent like the Steelers did. they played a top tier defense on the road and won with a defense that takes the ball away better than any team in the nfl. people are looking at the last game and handicapping this game. you have to look at the whole picture, not one game. you don't know what you're talking about.

"I think their lack of offense finally derails them" - really? ravens averaged 24.1 points per game this season and the Steelers scored 21.7. ravens ranked 4th rushing the ball and Steelers ranked 23rd. ravens led the NFL in time of possession. ravens +13 in turnovers, Steelers +3 in turnovers.

yeah, we have injuries and pit is playing at home, that's why the spread is pit -6 but the ravens have been the 2nd most injured team behind jax all season and they somehow find someone to step in a get the job done.

not saying the ravens win tomorrow, just saying you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to these 2 teams.

enjoy the game. :toast:

All this chatter with QB ratings, past games, injuries, and bye weeks don't mean dick. These two teams will go all out for 60 minutes. IMO there's only 2 guys that can beat Pittsburgh, and that's Big Ben or Tomlin. If Ben doesn't make mistakes and Tomlin doesn't make stupid moves they will advance. The Ravens need to do something special on offense or they are toast. Flucco will get a heavy pass rush and be put to the test with no running game. Say what you want about Ben but he has made big plays when he had to this year.

I AM T-MINUS 14 HOURS FROM DEPARTING WEST TO CHECK INTO HEINZ TO WATCH THIS GAME. TO HELL WITH THE COLD, IF THE STEELERS WIN, IT WILL FEEL LIKE 65 DEGREES.

i came close to coming but it was too much hassle for me after going last week. if it was in baltimore i would be there.

enjoy the game.

btw, when i was looking for tix i saw they had club seats in the one end zone that didn't have access to the club area. what's that all about? i think they called it club suites? i don't remember exactly but you will know what i'm talking about.

You like that one, and now that you are drinking BL I thought that was appropriate......

Anyways, and as a reminder, Ben played with a bad arm pretty much all season, and why he held onto the ball too long, because he didn't have the zip and waited for guys to become completely open. Last week, he looked crisp IMO. Part 2, I thought the Steelers were going to sign Franco back as their RB's have been a mash unit all year. Moore? or you kidding me, all he did for Minny was return punts, and they signed and resigned Davenport. Parker was hurt all year. So all this information and a $0.25 will get you the sports section to take a shit with. Now, go cry me a river......

Pittsburgh 24-Baltimore 9
