The terrible circumstances of your apparently almost 'forced' trip down here to paradise from Cincinnati :mj07: are not relevant.
Anyways, although I hope that you make the golf trip, I have a hunch that you won't.
Not that it would make a difference in the scheme of things regarding you showing up, i'm sure, but any drinks or meals are on me when we are together if you actually show up that weekend.

Thats the only time I was a no show, except for one other time in Atlantic City when I said I was going to show and I cancelled but then the trip was cancelled by Jack (how's that for Kerryspeak). Despite the fact that I will be in fear of great physical and emotional harm, I will be there. I may introduce myself as Raymond, Fletcher, AR or Dr. Strangelove, but I will be there.

maybe we should try and gather a few of us Iowa/Nebraska/Minnesota guys and see if we can't get something together for a Saturday PM. Would like to get to this gig in KY or where ever it gets held, but my 7 1/2 month old has got my free weekends down to a bare minimum these days. Boone works for me--2 hours each way. Golf in AM, gamble a bit in PM, home before dark.
Yeah, the casino at Prairie Meadows or we could drive a little farther East and take a few $$ from the Indians at Tama...
Also, KC Wolf manages a golf course over on this side of Iowa; he could probably get something set up for us. His course is only 9 holes, though...:shrug:
After checking out the link for this spot in Indy, I want pack the bags tonight! I'm in the same boat with a 3 Month old at home along with a wild 6 year old for me/the wife to chase. Gonna put in some serious work on the wife to try and swing this Indy trip. I just have to see if the new clubs Jack bought are fake or not..:mj07: If all else fails, I might be able to work something out with my friends at Crow Valley, Davenport CC, or Short Hills CC depending on how many players. Worst case, Byron Hills for sure.

Dusted off the rust from the sticks and went to the driving range and hit a bucket of balls for the first time in six months. Felt pretty good about it so I went out and played 9 holes.

got 18 in today, well really about 14, didn't really put out the last 4 holes on the back. But played pretty good.

And I have met fletcher, ray and ar many times each, so that won't work. And i've seen Strangelove in pictures posted here. Speaking of him, he seems to be able to spend about 26 weeks a year going to remote islands, but HE can't make a gathering? :shrug:
