6:00 PM August 2, Ohio river valley, Belterra golf course, 3rd hole, 90 some degrees, no wind, dead calm, oppresively high humidity, mosquitoes, a soaking wet golf shirt after 40 minutes of play, already one over, my burning cigar tasting awful as the sun beats down, in the middle of f'ing nowhere, the smell of Bart's lack of deodorant, those sticky things all over my legs itching me to death, and walking around in foot high weeds of the right rough looking for Jacks ball as it was our best drive off the tee.

This is going to be a blast.

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but I played a few days ago and shot 76 (par 72). Actually had 3 consecutive birdies, shot even par on the front nine and just faded in the afternoon heat on the back nine. Playing again today on a course I've never seen, so that'll be a good test of where I'm at. Hope I bring my "A" game this weekend!!! :00hour

I also shot 76 after work yesterday.

Looking forward to the back nine today. Rain shortened my round.

Looks like I will be arriving in Indianapolis 5pm Friday. That would put me at Belterra at about 7ish? I will be very angry from losing an entire day by flying from West Coast. ....Very angry.

To make matters worse, I have not honed my golf at all the last month - as I previously suggested I would do. I am in jeopardy of being just as bad - or worse - than Kosar.

:wtf:

It ended up way cheaper for some reason. After the golf thingy, I'm driving to Cleveland to visit a friend (and never been to Cleveland) and then fly home from there.

I tried every scenario and Indy ended up being a lot cheaper.

Hey man, why do you think it's taken me this long to visit? ...But everyone should see Cleveland before they die, right? It's on my bucket list.;)

no, i know kosar has that:padlock:

We ain't playin' around. Period. I make good lag putts according to Wayne, but I probably won't have a putter, maybe. I'll just use a 3 wood or something. Makes no difference in MY game.

Anybody rent night-vision goggles up there?
