Im not bashing him it's just that he's stone cold right now. Every time he posts a best bet it doesn't even come close. I'm sure he's a nice guy but money is money!:D

Glad I'm still thinking and didn't bet the Niners! Pathetic!

Nolan bashers, are u one in the same person logging off and back on? That's my guess. I think the Nolan angle here was take the dog if the fav is favored by more in the second half than they were for the whole game. Cheers Nolan!

Terp Fan you get my point.

People want info, angles, analysis, trends, insight etc.... I gave it to you (bet against him for the time being) but now you bash me?
How long did it take him to come up with all that analysis for the Pitt/Clev game? It took me 5 seconds to make my wager and it won easily. I'm sure he's a good guy and all, and I have nothing against him (except for his support of rioting at games over bad officiating) but alot of people kiss his ass over his 50% winning %.

One friend of mine is 1 for his last 15, another 1-7. Is it bashing them when I bet against them or is it a wise wager? My account says a wise wager and I will follow blindly until their losing streak stops.

On the course!
gjn,

Maybe you should "win in the dark" with those fades then, and not have your meal ticket stop posting.

Your logic about Nolan seems all wet. The guy studies the game, and finds what he feels is an angle. To say that his time didn't matter because the bet lost, is irrelevent.

Two guys, with ZERO knowledge of wagering could pick opposite sides of the game. One would win.

Personally, I don't think all the tendencies in the world can make a guy a winner in this business, and it all comes down to which side of the coin you are on. Sooner or later, Nolan will hit a shitload again, enroute to that 46-54% range we all attain.

Good luck to you, but like a "Don't" bettor at craps.......you need to be quiet when you win.

YYZ...

If you're striving for 46-54% you better find another hobby.

46-49 % will get you to the poor house quickly
50-52% will keep you around for a while
53% keeps you even
54-59 is the goal
60% or higher is lying, betting 10 games a year or is selling their picks.

You feed into the illusion.

I am not striving for that percentage, it is what we all get, eventually.

You are good comedy, though.

Like I have argued forever, you guys all get a boner over 55%, but if a guy claims to hit 5% more, he is a liar!.....It can't be done.

Why can't his coin come up heads a few more times?

One can hit more than 60% over a small sample of games. Over the long haul (betting an entire season of games) it's VERY TOUGH.

True, most are in the 47-50% but like I said, if that's your goal get a different hobby or have deep pockets??????

And again........It is NO ONE'S goal.......it is where everyone ends up. What are you failing to understand?
