so I just read a bunch of posts on here and all I'm getting is possible places and times of the month, but nothing is set yet....right?
I'm waiting to make my decision based on the package available, whether the dates are before 6/15 or after 7/20 and before 8/10 and how much homemade paella Cie will be making. Joker's still on vacation, so maybe he can hammer this out this week :shrug:
And Agent is about as likely to be at the outing as edludes is. . . just sayin'

Bart, I think you, myself, Jack and Bryan take on Andy, Brent, Gary and Joker (or Nole). Best ball for each foursome. 2 from each team play with 2 from the other team as foursomes on Friday. Should be very close. We all know each others games. $10-20 per hole per man. Anyone????

A friend of mine is the sales manager at the Hilton Riverside. Jack and Judge have stayed there. If they liked it, then I'll call her to see what she can do for group rates.
I am not a golfer, so not much help there.
Harrah's is across the street from the Hilton, and the french quarter is a couple of blocks away. Several eateries are within walking distance. I will determine what live music acts are playing that weekend as well. There will definitely be some music in the marigny, which is located adjacent to the french quarter off of esplanade ave.
July is a great time to go offshore fishing. I can set up an offshore trip out of Venice for Tuna, Wahoo and Marlin. I go every year or 2 with some friends in July, and it has always been great fun. I prefer an overnight trip. We leave Venice at 5pm and return about 9 or 10 am. Last time we landed 12+ tuna and a white marlin:mj06:
So far it sounds good....I also don't care where it is, I just want the place to be chosen based on how many people will actually show up.....I have NEVER in my entire life been deep sea fishing. Would love to do it!!!!!!
