I'm assigning myself the task of using that word in a conversation today.
I asked for each hotel/casino for:
golf/hotel packages
no golf/hotel package
$25 or more in casino cash for each participant
drink tickets
etc........
I am told the hostesses for each casino is trying to get the packages approved - whatever that means.....
Belterra refuses to do hotel/golf packages - must pay full price for golf.

To me, if I can make an event, it's vacation time for me. I don't care if I spend a few bucks on vacation.
did anyone tell them how many people are going and we are a bunch of gambling addicts?? You would think they would want all of us there spending money...:shrug:

yes they are high-brow, with this economy you would think not,they want a few big players & forget the rest, they are busy when they have shows
i haven't been there this year, hard to get a good poker game ther except fri & sat nite
1st year there we did get free rooms & group rate on golf. a few miscommunitcations messed golf up but it worked out, noone but my wife :facepalm: gambled enuff to make it worthwhiled for them, in thier eyes. so 2nd year no break on rooms but some ppl got thier room comped. much more gambling
last year belterra got to within $30 of horseshoe but we went with horseshoe GREAT CHOICE IMO mucho gambling

Yeah, the first year at Belterra, we had a free night and a $70 night and free golf. I personally like Belterra better, but that's because I win better there??
As far as the gambling goes, they all want u to play slots or high limit table games b4 u get much n the way of comps. Table minimum players like me, poker players, and people who play very little slots don't get many comps.
Yyz, you will need to call n sick if u must so u can b at this golf outing! Don't let the man keep down like that!
