Give me time to get familiar with crap I never had to do and I'll have this site running smoother and easy on the eyes in a matter of a few days to a week. It's a lot of work that I wasn't expecting but I am here for you guys. I aim to please, just bear with me. :0008

Here is a fishing site I visit using the same forum type http://forums.floridasportsman.com/showthread.php?132872-Floracarbon-Line-Leader , I like the way they have theirs set up with the message and forum space compressed as a smaller layer with a larger layer behind. Feel free to delete this if need be, didn't figure it was a problem since its a fishing site. These things are tons of work (not that I have to tell you), GL

Thanks dude. I just spent an hour looking at pictures of Florida chicks holding dead fish.

Very similar color scheme that I am looking to achieve. I finally got a visual dictionary to help me identify the names of the various items that need changing whereas before it was guessing. In a day or two of tweaking I'll have this site visually stimulating.

a lot softer on the eyes with the blue borders MJ - I would maybe suggest a little darker shading in the actual posts still, but that may just be me as I think I might have sensitive eyes

good luck with the rest of the changes - burns

How is this gray look? Easier on the eyes but needs a little tweaking.

Those Vbulletin guys don't share much info with non-members. I saw the StyleVar Visual Dictionary page but that document is not available to non-members. I'm going to download the firebug addon and see if it is helpful.

I think if I get shaded alternating rows for the threads, I'll almost be there with a few tweaks.

Agreed.
Def a huge improvement from the first roll-out!

The margins have become very wide since last night. The forum part needs to be longer and the margins shorter.
