This has been going on as long as I can remember. In 1967 I was 20 years old, I was home on leave from the Army and the Detroit riots were going on. Nothing much has changed in the past 47 years.

I've seen the media in this area just set up, waiting for something - ANYTHING - to happen. The CNN trucks have been everywhere. In my opinion, the ones who will be most disappointed if there is no rioting and looting ARE the media.
But don't worry, they did a great job of making sure all of us are on edge and as I watch my TV at this moment, shots are being fired and tear gas is being thrown. This is not McCulloch's fault.
The media have, in this case, created the news so they'd have something to report.

The unidentified witness wrote that the 18-year-old Brown ?has his arms out with attitude,? while ?The cop just stood there.? The witness added, ?Dang if that kid didn?t start running right at the cop like a football player. Head down.?
The witness told of hearing ?3 bangs,? but ?the big kid wouldn?t stop.?
The witness?s account of the unarmed Brown charging Wilson--even after he had been shot in the hand during a struggle at the cop?s patrol car--supports the officer?s contention that he fired a series of shots as Brown bore down on him.
During his September 16 grand jury testimony, Wilson, 28, recounted how he tussled with Brown when the teenager grabbed for his gun while lunging into the squad car. As they fought over the weapon, Wilson testified, the teenager taunted him, yelling, ?You?re too much of a pussy to shoot me.?
Wilson told the grand jury that he felt Brown?s ?fingers try to get inside the trigger guard with my finger.? He added, ?I distinctly remember envisioning a bullet going into my leg. I thought that was the next step.?
Testifying that he thought Brown (seen at left) would ?kill me if he gets ahold of this gun,? Wilson said that he discharged the weapon inside the cruiser. The gunshot, he added, ?kind of startled him and me at the same time.? The teenager then ?looked up at me and had the most intense aggressive face,? Wilson recalled. ?The only way I can describe it, it looks like a demon, that?s how angry he looked.? Brown, Wilson testified, then raised his arms and punched him in the face.
Wilson also gave grand jurors another vivid description of Brown. Recalling when he first placed his hand on the teenager?s arm--when the 6? 4?, 292-pound Brown was alongside his patrol car--Wilson testified that, ?I felt like a five-year-old holding onto Hulk Hogan.? The cop added, ?Hulk Hogan, that?s just how big he felt and how small I felt just from grasping his arm.

Wonder how Richard Daley would have handled the rioting.
I believe a few police dogs would have been inside the liquor store and beauty shop .
I am sure the property owners are asking themselves why the police did not protect their stores.
Decision should have been handed down around noon.

Wow. It's incredible to see that some of you appear to be more upset by the stupidity that the network news are focusing on as opposed to the stark reality that a cop faced absolutely no retribution for murdering an 18-year old black kid. In. America.

Cops got their way n they got to shoot ab unarmed man, shirk their duties to serve and protect by allowing looting and such but they did get to further oppress and assist in the destruction of the poor neighborhood they wanted to send a message to anyway, media definitely got their way as they incited the riot as stated above, white America got its way because they get to shake their head and call the people of Ferguson names and proclaim themselves so much above all that stuff going on with "those" people all from the safety and comfort of their living room. The looters got what they wanted. Besides the family of the deceased who truly got fucked, the only ones that got fucked are those few citizens in the U.S. that realize exactly how damaging and sad this really is. How the justice system in our country has become so perverted and useless.
I wonder how many of you it has occurred to that this is a grand jury decision to not indict the officer. That means there will be no charges despite the community outrage and injustice. Yet just a few months ago a grand jury refused to indict another person and guess what, white community outrage got him convicted even though the grand jury refused to pass charges. His name is Adrian Peterson and he's black.
So when white America wants that black bastard back in chains they get it! When the media becomes the justice system, pretty much like it is now, you can lead this country to the gallows. It's coming to an end.

If i punched a cop in the face, reached into his car and tried to grab his gun, then charged at him as the evidence proves.... well shit I would imagine I would meet the same fate. The only injustice is the cop lost his job doing his job. He is the one that is being punished. The kid that died got exactly what he deserved, he was high just robbed a convenience store and tried to kill a cop, hmmmm, but yet people like you defend him, that is so ridiculous.....I feel sorry for his family as they lost their son, but they should have raised him better to respect authority and this possibly does not happen

Those that are disappointed cannot get around the fact that Michael Brown had total control of this situation. Had Brown not stolen cigars from a market, the police would not have been called. Had Brown obeyed the orders of the officer upon contact with the police, this would not have happened. Had Brown not fought with Officer Wilson over his firearm, this would not have happened. Had Brown not charged at the officer when ordered to get on the ground, this would not have happened. This is the lesson learned, obey the law and obey a lawful order when an officer gives you one. If the black community continues to support lawlessness this kind of thing will continue to happen. The argument that this was racial profiling is laughable. The only person approached by the police was the guilty party of the stealing at the market. By a very detailed description the office approached the only person that fit that description, so no racial profiling, it was just good police work. Go ahead and burn your neighborhood down, you are not accomplishing a thing except making it worse.

You are leaving out a lot of now known facts here.. There were shots fired inside the car and he had gun powder on his hands. So its a fact he was indeed trying to grab the cops gun. He wasnt shot cause he stole cigars.. He was shot for being a dumb ass.
I say again, to me this isnt about race. If i punched a cop in the face and tried to take his firearm.. only then to charge after him I would would most likely meet my own demise just like Brown. All of this could have been avoided.. Did he "deserve" to die? No but this was his own damn fault
And to show you im not racially biased to me the situation in Jersey where the copped choked out and killed Eric Garner is much worse. With Wilson my first thought was ok lets see the evidence. When I saw the garner video I was confident I witnessed a murder.
