Thanks for the well wishes.

Just got home from dropping off the bike at the dealership. They say that there shouldnt be a problem with the ins co. Whatever they write up is what gets paid for. They said they go thru the whole bike and every broken part, scratch and dent gets written up.

Leg feeling better. Swelling going down and the cast is getting looser. Already bored as hell sitting at home. Think I figured out how to drive my truck so I will give it a try when the wife is at work monday.

That would be an awesome site of all these bikes taking off at one time.

Tomahawk rally starts today....40,000 expected. Had plans to ride in...still get to ride in only now on 4 wheels instead of 2. Wont be the same ..but what the hell.

Update..(because Im bored and my leg is killing me) Estimate came back for 4k and will take about 8-10 weeks to fix (mainley because of how long it takes to get the painted parts from HD) All damage is cosmetic. Talked to agent handling claim on Tues and she says the driver is now disputing how it happened. So now they have to do an investigation. Says they wont cut check for bike until its complete. Agent says they have to do it that way even if they dont believe her because the driver is there client. News flash dumbass....We both have the same ins co so what does that make me?? Will give it a few more days before I call back to see whats up.

Badtodabone..Went into Tomahawk on sat and it was wall to wall bikes.

Wonder what that bar owner was thinking by playing Raggae music. Must have been the same person that thought Elton John was a good fit during the 100th anniversary event.:mj07: :mj07:

Charter Capt was thinking the same thing....12 year Run.....:com:

Had to be at least 15K bikes....I work at a Marina by the only draw bridge here....I'm surpised no one was killed at our spot....

....One 70 year old gent was DOA on Friday after he hit a Chev Blazer & tossed his 36 year-old wife...she made it after an airlift

Just checking to see who is coming to Milwaukee for the 105th in August??

Will not make it Bubbas1. Started a new job this year and do not have the vacation time(dumbass me had 4 weeks at my previous job). Sounds like it will be a blast though with all the activities planned. The misses and I went to biketoberfest in Daytona for a day and I definetly got an eye full(See below). Had a great time. Looking forward to catching a day or two for bike week this spring.
Would love to make it to Milwaukee!

To bad your going to miss it. We havent decided if we are going to any of the "official" get togethers. A lot of bars and HD dealerships will be having things going on so we might just stick with them.

Will definatly have the camera out no matter where we end up though.

Finally hit 72 degrees today. Took the bike into work today..first time since accident. Not to bad..they still drive like asses there though. Went out and bought a helmet just for the purpose of riding to work. I think that made me more at ease riding in.

Wife has gotten used to her new bike. (Waiting for her to get home from work now so we can get in some miles). We sent her seat off to Mean City Cycles and had them add foam to it. They did an outstanding job. Seat is now softer and they actually lowered it 1/2 inch and made it a little bit narrower in the front so she can now put her feet on the ground flat footed. Cost was $125 I believe to have it done. Thats alot cheaper than buying an aftermarket one.
Heres a pic of the bike. Added bars to protect the bags and put on Sampson mufflers. Once the mufflers were on we started it up and they are louder than my screaming eagles. So....I went out and got louder pipes for my bike (Sampson also)because I knew what would happen the 1st time we pulled up to a stop sign together.

Damn nice bike Bubbas1. Glad you could finally get out and you are back on after the accident. Hope I never have to go through it. You all enjoy the spring riding and be safe!
