NOT typing in notepad this time so I know this one will get to this forum.

Looks like there are some decent races today, so here ya go...

6th race: Well, you can do ONE stinkin dollar tickets and still do fine IF one cashes. Two sets of zactas for me -> no. 9 top/bot 3,4,5,8 AND no. 8 top/bot 3,4,5. No side plays.

7th race: Sorry, this one is worser. A little complicated, but here goes - the way these bets are written, even at 1 stinkin dollar tickets could produce an excellent payout. That's cause I'll have the KEY exactas (I like best) on TWO tickets (making it a $2 bet). AND, if no. 7 or 9 wins as well that could make these bets return enough to put some actual weight in the ole money bags.

I always play 2 dollar tickets for exactas; well, almost always. For this race, the zacks would cost $40 the way they are written and I think that's too much even if I'm only playing 3 races. Here's the zactas - 1,3,7 top/bot 2,3,7,9. Side action is to bet nos. 7 and 9 to WIN, only.
This race sure as hell looks like a 3 figure exacta payoff. Hope so.

8th race: Ugh, I believe this is one one of them "either or" waces. EITHER no.2 gets in the zacta OR the winnah is no. 1 or 8 and just forget about the no. 2. Now what the hell do ya do?
Two strikes against that no. 2 are the trainer is so/so and it's coming off a bit of a layoff. But, just about EVERY thing else I check points to the no. 2 hoss. I guess the answer to this dilemma is to check out that no. 2 in the prerace before betting anything in this race methinks.

Oh, thinking bout looking for LOOKERS, here's something that may be of interest and maybe helpful. Now, I guess I better not tellyas that, after watching almost all them breeder waces Fri. and Sat. and didn't bet a thing - I finally broke down and played a few exacta and two horses to win the Classic. Only two dollar tickets of course on these races between clones. And I ain't gonna tellyas about me hitting the winnah and that exacta either while only playing a few tickets too .. . OOPS! LOL. But here's something that you may be interested in and may be of some value to ya...

Did anybody tape or Tivo the whole telecast of the Classic, from paddock to post parade, to warm up on the track before the race? IF SO, play it and see if you can tell how that there no. 4 LOOKED and acted (even if it's a subtle difference) a little different than the others. He wasn't quite a "10" but he was as close to it as any horse I've seen in about a year while looking for a "10". I never heard of that horse or his jockey but he was a L@@KER alright.

That's it. G.L.

Watching them live today

Watching them live today

Looks like everybody may have had enough hosses with them breeders. I get to watch Philly LIVE today, so if anybody is interested if I see anything good in the prerace stuff, chime in.

I'll stop in here again to see. IF not, good luck NFLing today. I got one of them that will complete a 3 teamer with two college winners so far. It's Seattle M.L.

COLLEGE ballers are still treating me better than them hosse lately even though I lucked out seeing the way that no. 4 looked in the Classic.

I gotta see if insurance is gonna be needed for the pending parlay. kurby

Here's a tip - watching them LIVE is much better than just putting them in the night before (ya can do that with some onliners). Seeing the payoffs BEFORE you betem is a big plus cause I saw how thems betted down that no. 9 and played the exactas with that one for more than the zacks involving the no. 8.

Yeah, that helped but basically - still came out about even after that race on account of the small zacta payoff.

BTW, sometimes that works against ya when they don't bet the horse you put in the night before.

edited: while I'm here, this 7th race looks like all DEADbeats. That may help no. 3's chances.

Wrap up

Wrap up

That no. 2 looked "OK" in that 8th. Acutally the nos. 1 and 8 looked a little better.

Nobody's playing along, so I'll just tell it like it is -

- the way I bet the 8th wound up coming out a few dollars ahead. Did play small zacks with the no. 2, and bet the no. 1 and 8, win only, based on each one's odds.

- 9th race was one of them "quick method handicapping" races. Didn't have enough time to do the deluxe method (LOL). Know what?.. .. this quick method is starting to look better than the tedious, long way. :mj03:
Picks were the 2 and the 6; put 5 bucks on each and just couldn't resist a small 2<->6 zack. No zacta, but no. 6 came through ($12.60).

Looks like the Peepers are around but many MJers are missing in action after fighting the breeder wars

Maybe I'll just post a single race (one I think may be bestest) for Mon. and/or Tues. AND hope I don't come back to tellyas that I won ALL the other waces :mj07:

Seriously, I ain't that bored. Far from it.

I see that Seattle is tied right now, may have to cover with Minn., 2nd half.

Misc stuff

Misc stuff

Glad you made some coin in the 7 th

Me too. That Speeding Train horse was the was the biggest payoff of all the tickets I had. Getting a bit disappointed at the exacta payoffs lately though; don't know what's going on over there. That one you caught the other day wasn't right either.

Have a good time with the pool, I played a lot of that for years. Really enjoyed that game. Years after I stopped playing, came down to FLA. and in the clubhouse in the condo. development I bought into there were two great pool tables. NOBODY played on them, CEPT me that is. I would go in there and practice at least 2 times per week after work.

Have fun.
