First thing I thought of too; they probably thought NE was going to call a TO but I'm guessing that when Bellicheck saw how rushed they were he let it go.

Have no idea why they were so rushed. It's 4th down; you kick the FG - he couldn't possibly have been thinking about going for it?

The real question is who becomes the ultimate goat for Ravens - Cundiff or Evans?

That was a huge gaffe, absolutely no need to rush that kick

unexceptable for a pro to drop that pass period

for christ sakes get laser vision or something he did not drop the ball what were you watching? The db knocked it out of his hands it was so quick he had no time to secure it.

Come on now. I agree that he didn't "drop the ball" but "no time to secure it" - are you serious? That play happens 100 times a year - WR catches a ball in the end zone and the DB swipes at it but 90% of the time the WR hangs onto it when they catch it that cleanly. Think Evans was thinking about his TD dance.

The DB made a great play in my opinion. It was a bang bang play. Harbaugh got outcoached today really. No reason to rush things with a TO in your back pocket. Thunder is absolutely right.

I agree, Thunder. Also, Belichick was heads-up to NOT call time-out to try & ice Cundiff. Smart decision. If Lee Evans holds onto the ball, it's a non-issue, but the NE defender did a great job of stripping the ball. Baltimore outplayed NE, but sometimes the better team doesn't always win. Should be a helluva Super Bowl! :toast:

i blame it on the announcer who said just before the field goal attempt.

Cundiff has made 16 of 16 fourth qtr field goals .....

why cant he just not say that until after the kick.

He put the super jinx on Cundiff.

Three things that stood out in this game #1 Balt is never winning a SB with joe flacco QBING #2 Ray lewis has stayed at the dance 2 long christ did he look awful today(I think one of the greatest LBERS of ALL-TIME)#3 Tom Brady looked very average todaY and i believe NYG will be able to get pressure with just rushing 4 down lineman.

What game did you watch?

Flacco outplayed Brady big time.

Lewis had 12 tackles.

Great analysis.
