Where it is real F ing COLD
How many points are the ravens going to need in this game?? They will need to score a bunch and they may cause new England's d is bad!

Referring to Pittsburgh, if you look up the game stats wise. I'm not on iPhone I think you will see Pitt won that game on offense not defense! They rolled them on third downs and were on the field all day, Balty will have to do the same, new England did move on Pitt with amount of time they had

Baltimore should have the 4 th best pass defense!

Dalton twice
Whatever browns threw twice
St Louis anemic
Jax gabbart
San Fran they getting better
Sanchez
T Jackson

Christ green bay would be in the top 15 with that shit

I think most here would agree if the texans had anything at qb that defense would have been shredded!

Then look at the teams NE played, none with an offense OR defense.

I guarantee Ravens had a better record if you want to throw in strength of schedule.

You guys are just cherry picking games to suit your argument. It's a TEAM sport that plays 16 regular season games.

You know damn well you wouldnt be talking if this was Pittsburgh this week, but it isnt. Carry on...

Yes I would. It would be the same exact argument only I would be defending the Steelers.

That's not my argument at all! Throw the pats in the same boat, I don't care.I'm not saying they are goin to win, just saying Balty is going to have to win with ball control and scores cause ravens are going to give up points

So now the division away games don't count?

Against tough teams too.

Both tougher teams with a WINNING record, something NE couldn't accomplish until they played Denver at HOME.

Hell, if they had won ALL their games there would still be the haters.

not hating on Balt at all...love Ray Ray...and when they wear the all black unis....and I always root for them over the steelers...i like the harbaugh brothers, etc....

however those are bad losses, and alot of it had to do with cam cameron imo.....division games count but teams also know one another very well..

but like you said NE is HOME and Balt plays either down to other teams level on the road or just plays average....4-4 on road vs a team that defends their turf well 7-1, with that ass whooping they took from the ravens in the playoffs on their mind.....

id prolly still take the ravens and the points, just hope Cam keeps the reigns in on O and just feeds rice and ricky.....

:director: Jack is fired up and its only tuesday...

id be the same way if Cutler didnt hurt his bowling thumb:sadwave:

Pittsburgh dominated them allowing only 213 total yards. 43 yards rushing and 170 passing.

TOP 39-21

PIT 25-17

It is true Pittsburgh handled Brady pretty well, they held him to 198 yards and two touchdowns. But those other two losses, were all on the defense. Brady threw for 390 yards and four touchdowns against Buffalo, but because of the very poor secondary lost the game 34-31
even against the Giants, Brady threw for 345 and two touchdowns. Once again the secondary didn't do its job, including allowing a winning touchdown pass with 20 seconds left.
It is an absolute fact the patriots have had a terrible secondary all season. Bill Belichick let go five defensive backs including four starters in preseason. And they cut Leigh Bodden halfway through the season.
Secondary has definitely been a work in progress. They have improved somewhat, but are still very suspect. I will say getting Chung (inarguably their best defensive back) back last week should help them. But at the same time they've lost probably their defense MVP Andre Carter, who far and away led the team in pressures and sacks.

If they can't stop the run, the result will be the same as the last playoff game against Baltimore. Hell what did flacco complete in that game five passes?

just an observation.....I don't believe the Pats beat a single team that ended up with a winning record :scared

They didn't as it ended up.

Baltimore played the #1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 defenses and WON! They couldn't play the #3 defense because they ARE the #3 defense.

THAT'S why the Ravens offensive numbers are skewed. They played tough teams with top defenses.

NE played 2 tough defenses; Pittsburgh and NYG and what happened? They lost.

Baltimore is 7-0 vs playoff teams, NE didn't even beat a winning team.

Yet, the Ravens lost one week vs SD after flying 5 hours to the west coast, on prime time TV, and they won't be able to hang with NE.

Because the SD game is the only game you can use as a comparison.

Hell what did flacco complete in that game five passes?

Did he even throw 10 passes? They won't throw it Sunday either, if they can run for 250 yards again, what would be the point?

The Ravens have better offense now too with Boldin, Smith and Evans.

Although, listening to NFL Radio today on XM, Colinsworth thinks the Ravens should come out firing and throw the ball 50 times and out score them. HUH?

Aside from the SD game, they letdown after a big win. Teams let down sometimes. I'll blame it on the coaching, I guess.

They DO get UP for the BIG games. Sunday will be a BIG game.

Go ahead and load up on NE, I'm not even going to bet, just trying to explain where you guys are wrong.

Cam Cam is a problem. I have no idea why they keep him, the fans have been calling for his head every week for 2 years.

How do these people get these jobs?

just realized you responded 2 more times to my initial post and i never even seen them ..damn you were quick.....:scared

its the good ol boy network in the NFL...everyone is recycled thats how they get jobs..and its sickening...once your in man, your set for life...someone will scoop you up for something.....

So. Cal
"all ne has going for it is homefield"

i had to laugh at that quote.....umm...i'll add a few more things they have going for them

1) tom brady
2) bill belicheck
3) TWO tight ends who control the middle of the field
4) championship experience
5) revenge/motivation
and......
6) no joe flacco

;)

look, ne defense was pretty bad all year....but they're healthier than they have been and while i know it was denver last week......denver has a good o-line, if you watched the game...ne d-line absolutely manhandled them all game long.....IF, ne d-line plays that same way vs an inferior o-line from balt then balt will struggle to get anything going.

and yes...i think using the @ pit. @ sd games for comparision purposes IS valid because they were both on the road and vs teams who are similar in style (spread em out) but worse than ne offensively.

2 games
54 points
600 passing yards (sd called off the pass in 2nd half)
1 int
1 sack

think ne can and will put up 27+ points....can balt keep up?
