I don't know, couldn't find anything on anyone with the middle name HussAin that's running for President.

I did find it interesting that the website you linked started out the page with the amazing fact that "the Web is being scrubbed of Obama material."

Do you think Al Gare has something to do with that?!? Who else could have that power with the Internets?

even the hardcore have to admit that some of this hero worship of b.h.o is getting really silly....

these people that are ready to open a vein for him could not tell you three of his positions, unless you count change, hope & unity(although,i can think of two)...

1)driver`s licenses for illegals...
2)gringo`s out of iraq...

and chris matthews?...what an ass .... he reached a new low finding obama's oratory so inspiring that he gets a "tingle in my leg" ......lol

sounds like a teenage school girl.....i wouldn`t doubt that bobby sherman gave him a tingle in all three legs...

Weasel, I will admit I think some of the worship (which I think is a fair term for it) is over the top. I've been thinking a lot about all of this stuff - inclusive of Super Delegates getting cold hard cash as an incentive for "hopefully" supporting the candidates. That one really stuck in my craw - I just don't understand how that can be allowable for any party - but I digress...

I am going to have to buckle down and start answering some serious questions on supporting Obama with a vote. I've said all along that I'm not sure there's that much "there" there, and I still wonder. I won't just vote for him just because he is a democrat, as I've mentioned I personally like McCain, and will have to take inventory. I can comfortably support Clinton on a lot of things, but need to study Obama more.

One thing that's been rattling around in my brain...I wonder if there's a chance that Obama could really BE one of those galvanizing figures that could change the country in some unique ways - like with many of the race issues and big city areas of blight. Maybe changing the dynamic (or the lack of a dynamic) in the "ghetto" mentality and those areas. I wonder if he could somehow parlay the support of the black population into a new outlook of change and taking more responsibility for changing the culture. His political views - economically and socially - don't necessarily reflect that kind of thing, but perhaps he is the kind of person who could use the pulpit to motivate those who have never felt like being motivated to make changes? And I know there are plenty of areas of blight that are not unique to black populations - maybe Huckabee can work on those...;)

I don't know - just something I've been tossing around on my long drives to and from work.

Thats the record.........152 total.........some are obviously fluffy........like the resoulution to congratualate the ChiSox in 2005........

Energy alternative technologies, education.......aded to list...........pretty active immediately post-Katrina.

There's some security in there as well.....

I get the apprhension about the "next big thing," but I'm next to this guy all ready..........there are some warts, of course, but its time for the boomers to step aside (no offense fellas:SIB ).......they've had their shot.........16yrs of Clinton/Bush is enough (41 was the WWII generation)..........we are going the wrong way.

Maybe the devil we know is better, but to send the same types to the same place to do the same stuff in the same way and expect some different results is insane. I just don't get the impression that someone who made his political bones on the Souh Side of Chicago is a pussy. He hasn't been around as long, but the only real qualification that matters to me, when you get right down to it, is that he is intelligent. Squawk all you want about his stances...........he is smarter than 98% of the people on this planet, and I'll side with that every time.

no...clue me in when you have the time...

just remember, that no major industrialized nation runs on "wind farms and solar energy"....thats a figment of someone`s imagination...

we have a massive infrastructure that would take decades to convert to some other form of energy...

thats why we should be working "now" to procure as much of our own oil and fossil fuels while we try and find an alternative...so we can have more back-up when the shit inevitably hits the fan in this crazy world we live in....

good post but wishful thinking.the only way the inner cities will change is if the attitudes of the people living there change toward family structure & education.
