I?ve been to several big cities and they are all loaded with homeless people. The ones with the best climates were by far the worst.

Providing shelter, food, rehab and job placement services via additional taxes is heartless and doesn't help them and the community? Really? I'm the heartless one? Did you mis-read what I wrote? I've proposed a solution that our God fearing, Bible thumping, good Christian men and women will NEVER agree to because they are complete and utter selfish hypocrites.

70% of the homeless people have mental disorders......we used to have mental institutions... for those old enough to remember. Maybe we should go back to this program? I always think of one flew over the cuckoo's nest (great movie) . At least people would have food and shelter:shrug:
Quite a few of the people are veterans, really sad. With all the money we are being taxed as a society, we should have funds for these folks to get them off the streets, JMO:0008

I was kidding. Too many beers. Hedge always says that the people on welfare should go to college and get a good job. Like, HTF can they pick up and go to college in their situation? lol

College does not guarantee a job or job security, Trade schools would be great for the homeless! It always cracked me up when a cashier would tell me they should be in management because they had a sociology degree:facepalm:.......... Never mind you are either late or absent 3 times a week, (we owe you because you have the easiest degree on the planet :0074

Trade schools are in high demand because the kids today do not want to do Manuel labor...... plumber, electricians, Mechanics, A/C refrigeration techs are all in high demand and have increased their wages. We should do (Something) to help guide these folks as most of them are lost! JMO
