I dry rub it first, then slather it with Sweet Baby Rays!!! :toast:

Anyone else try that meat roll that someone posted a year ago. I did it at the cabin last year and enjoyed it. I needed more seasoning as it tasted kinda like a meat loaf in my preparation.

Oh well, I like the food concepts we pass around here. Ok, more so the concepts I take from here! :0074

I have a bottle and half LEFT of this sauce... good for store bought... but nothing compares to making your own sauces/rubs and I am pretty good at it :0074

best store bought sauce in my opinion is Rufus Teague followed by Stubbs.

Sweet Baby Ray's and other thicker sauces like that mask the flavor of the meat in my opinion.

I am a big fan of Sweet Baby Rays also.

Had some Honey Sweet Baby Rays on some Iowa Pork Chops last Saturday night. They were great.
