Best NFL team of the decade

The ONLY question about that defense is the Bears defense, so don't EVEN go there
'85 Bears relied on alot of gimmick and scheme. Ravens was better.

Seriously! That team has to be considered, and is considered by many, to be the best team of the decade. I'm not joking here :nono:
not sure i agree with jack,but,didn`t the ravens win every playoff game on the road?....

no, they beat denver at home on new years eve. without question the best sporting event i ever attended. what a great time that was with my son :00hour
sorry jack....but 1 good season does not make a team the best of the decade....it's what the team has accomplished over the 10 years that makes a team the best of the decade....ie....the packers of the 60's or the steelers of the 70's....based on that criteria & what the "experts" use, the team of this decade has to be the pats....
if we want to talk about the best team for a single season in this decade, then the ravens should be considered....
I dont know who the best was.. I think that Pats team would beat that Ravens team.. The Ravens had a great team, but those offenses were not the greatest that season..
There were a lot of mediocre teams in the playoffs.. I mean the Vikings were 11 - 5 and made it to the NFC championship game with Kevin Bass and Was Serwnaga as starting corners.. the giants were nothing special that year either and made the Superbowl.. 2 Mediocre teams..
Now look the AFC.. I know the Ravens played the Titans who were run up the middle every play then punt.. The Raiders had a good offense, but you will never get me to say that Raven team was a best of decade with Dilfer at Q.. Ravens D was not better than 85 Bears.. They just played in a season where the competition was ordinary.,.
