Great call Fletcher! All through those bogus news stories I kept saying to myself Fletcher says they want Va. Tech and Miami. It was so great to hear all those talking heads spew off all these weeks and in the end have say exactly what you said would happen. Let that be a lesson to us all on how much to believe those talking heads on tv. Thanks again Fletch for sharing.

PP and bug boy cricket if i post something that is real news and say I do then I do. I don't need to make shit up like i said i had family that had and does coach in big east, I don't post just to post i try to give useful info. But then again i don't know shit, i know more coaches and players then you 2 together have family and friends, from hs coaches all the way to pro sports and players and never once did i said i had inside info i would not compmerise a freindship over a stupid bet you have never heard me say lock or inside info nor will you every you might see a ;) from time to time in football and hoops but i keep to myself with may friends when we speak we speak as ex-coaches and players and friends gambling is never brought up and never would.

Thanks BBC and Stevie for taking my back. It won't be forgot i just get sick of having to fight that's why i have cut posting down, always some one want's to fight me and make it like i think i am better then they are, well i could be because i do my work it is a job to me not extra money. Thanks guys.

Hey sex ape, you throw so much nonsense out there that it's just logical that SOMETHING will turn out to be accurate. Plus, like cricket says, it's not a done deal yet!!!! Save your chest thumping for your so-called inside info buddies. Your little circle jerk group who pats each other on the back for actually maybe getting something right for a change. Big deal and MAYBE a good guess, but how about all the other stuff that you made up as well. That stuff didn't turn out so well, DID IT???????

Inside info or not, at the time Fletcher posted that information it was incorrect. The only reason VTech has been added is because the ACC needs 7 votes to accept the teams and Virginia refused to vote "Yes" unless VT was added. The only reason that Virginia Tech is involved is because of UVA. At the time of the original post, there was no move to invite VT into all of this.

No one can say that I blindly follow what Fletcher say, but the guy always has good information. Why does everyone have to be such an ass? What does he gain by being right in this situation? This place was a lot better before assholes like you guys came around. Remember, you are more than welcome to leave at anytime, or better yet, just don't read Fletcher's posts.

Your schtick is tired. I know I don't have to come in here and take up for anyone, but when reading an informative thread like this one, it just gets really old.

Fletch--Thanks for what you contribute!

miami was or is to have news conf today at 4 but was on the phone with a friend at wvu and miami said yes late last night so tech and miami both go to acc. but i don't know anything. and it will cost each school 1 mill in exit fees and big east has a bcs contact for 3 more years and rules say they can't be kicked out because of teams who pulled out.

Also n.dame who is big east in everything but fb said if they can keep their tv contract and the money and get big east money they will be full time big east since they are in every sport. Teams who have called big east for two spots are top 2 depending on nd is cinn and louisville, also calls from s.miss, ucf and south fl and marshall. If n.dame were to jup some where else they would be kicked out of all sports in big east it was made clear to them this week. so your swim team and womens hoops and mens hoops volleyball would be in for a lot of air fair this has more to do the fb, also now acc just killed off 2 top teams from getting bcs bid because fsu who did not want them in and miami and va.tech will have to play each other next year and clemson or ncst can sneak up and beat you anytime as well as virginia. so stupid if you were looking at fb only as your reason, i can see the reasons for miami and tech but this was all handled wrong. tech is in that region and in state virginia is acc so that will really heat up and miami lot closer to acc the big east but was not handled right. now it's over but the law suits.

I agree. I think this story is just beginning. With Miami and VTech, that gives the ACC 11 teams, right? They need 12, so who will be the last. I would like to see them "promote" one of the powerful small conference schools like Central Florida or East Carolina. Any opinions on this?

dont think they will ever let ECU in....too many old history problems with them agaisnt state and carolina...i am pretty sure those 2 teams would definitely not vote in the Pirates

would love to see Notre Dame, but i dont think they would come...think they have a pretty good deal with the Big East...

should be real interesting to see how they will work the new 2 teams in next year

Hard to say the big east schools are hard to get into lot of students get turned down all the time upper academic insitutions. Now with the acc you are even going 1 step futher in what it takes to get a person into one of their schools very high academic insitutions so will be a hard fit, they could try for a board vote by ncaa for 11 teams to hold conf championship but i think big 12 and sec would have something to say about that it will be tuff. The acc just willnot take anyone sports can only push so much, these are schools who love sports but take pride and up hold their academic standerds first and foremost. They have not bettered themself money wise in my eyes, the only way is to get another school and get a championship game. The big east pays it members more in football then acc so acc adds 2 more teams that is just more money to split up. Vanderbilt would be a great fit but don't think they would leave the sec but acc looks for schools like that. a school that would fit and is very high academic and introuble with sports programs because of money is tulane, they would hold their own and the money would bail them out of their problems. And give the acc the 12 and a top academic school.

I like the Tulane call except that it's not really an Atlantic Coast school. I think it is better when there is actually geography involved in these decisions. Just my opinion.
