I have no doubt the man is dead. However to satisfy the nuts out there they should have a private viewing with members of both parties, both medias, Donald Trump, Rush, Olbermann, whoever just so if anyone questions it these guys can all agree that they saw the photos and videos.

I don't need to see it and definitely don't need my kid to stumble on it.

sometimes the media insists on transparency(like the right to show pictures of american flag draped coffins coming home)...and sometimes they just figure,"what the hey?"....

I hope they give some acknowledgement to those who were behind his capture

After 9/11, when the fraying started, George W. Bush passed through a seven-year political minefield of media leaks and lawsuits over the Patriot Act, surveillance, renditions, Guantanamo and CIA interrogations. Now bin Laden is dead, and Barack Obama's got the credit. We're all fine with that, just as we're fine with people chanting "USA" over the dead terrorist who tried to kill us. Now how about letting those CIA interrogators come in from the cold and join the celebration?

Those interrogators of four years ago piinpointed this location? Obama should be thrown in jail sitting on that type of info for years before he made a move.

-->RELATED: Three senators may have been fooled by fake bin Laden pictures
Hillary Chabot

Boston Herald
May 5, 2011

U.S. Sen. Scott Brown ? who said earlier today he saw a picture of Osama bin Laden taken after the Sept. 11 mastermind was killed ? fell victim to a fake photo of the al-Qaeda leader?s death that made the rounds after U.S. forces shot him on Sunday.

?The photo that I saw and that a lot of other people saw is not authentic,? Brown said in a statement.

A staffer added that the Wrentham Republican obtained the photo from what he believed to be ?a reliable source.? The staffer said Brown was briefed on the raid by Obama administration officials, but those officials did not show him any pictures.

Brown told NECN earlier today that he?s seen the photos and that he doesn?t believe they should be released.

Smoke and mirrors gents... They will not officially release the photos so we look like a country with dignity.. and we also dont piss off the Muslims even further..

Instead the photos will be leaked or stolen....unofficially

This way we can prove his death to the conspiracy crack pots while at the same time not look like assholes to the rest of the world for showing it. Its like having your cake and eating it too..

Give it six months.

Operation Northwoods

***Search the term***

In the spring of 1962, a few months after the launch of Operation Mongoose with General Edward Lansdale at its head, an incredible proposal was put forth by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Operations Northwoods called for faked and actual terrorist actions against the U.S. to be conducted by the U.S., but done in such a way that they could be blamed on Cuba. This would provide a pretext for launching a full-scale military invasion of the island nation, and the removal of Fidel Castro.

Here are excerpts from the ideas put forth in a March 13 1962 proposal for U.S.-initiated actions which could be falsely blamed on Cuba:

?"A series of well coordinated incidents will be planned to take place in and around Guantanamo to give genuine appearance of being done by hostile Cuban forces."
?"A 'Remember the Maine' incident could be arranged in several forms: a. We could blow up a US ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba..."
?"We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities, and even in Washington."
?"The terror campaign could be pointed at refugees seeking haven in the United States. We could sink a boatload of Cubans enroute to Florida (real or simulated)..."
?"Use of MIG type aircraft by US pilots could provide additional provocation. Harassment of civil air, attacks on surface shipping and destruction of US military drone aircraft by MIG type planes would be useful as complementary actions..."

Sounds kind of like 9/11 ?

The photo shopped pics are funny --but the real deals make one wonder--if the 24 minutes of action were really blacked out--and this is their reaction to the prelude-

Osama bin Laden dead: Blackout during raid on bin Laden compound

The head of the CIA admitted yesterday that there was no live video footage of the raid on Osama bin Laden's compound as further doubts emerged about the US version of events.

President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, along with with members of the national security team, receive an update on the mission

By Steven Swinford 10:25PM BST 04 May 2011

Leon Panetta, director of the CIA, revealed there was a 25 minute blackout during which the live feed from cameras mounted on the helmets of the US special forces was cut off.

A photograph released by the White House appeared to show the President and his aides in the situation room watching the action as it unfolded. In fact they had little knowledge of what was happening in the compound.

I wish we could compare it to Rummy and Cheney's looks when they caught Osama, but we can't. . . . Are you sure this is the prelude? Maybe they're being briefed on some new internal software protocals? tomorrow's visitors? next week's cafeteria fare?

On the course!
Don't tell me any of this horse shit about the communications being screwed up, either.

That's about as good as when these helicopters just "go down" out of thin air everytime there is a fire fight.

Machines that work without a hitch every other day of the year, just happen to crash on the day you need them the most. Right. Rockets could never be involved. Always mechanical failure.

And, of course......your hi-tech video equipment takes a shit at the only fucking moment you need it.......on EVERY soldier using it!

Why people trust anything this lying-assed government ever says, is beyond me.
